When this track came out, I listened to it over 15 times in a row, there is so much going on here it is pure brilliance. One of HMRs best ever, has a mid 80s feel to it that just sounds right, it's all there. ❤
One of those get you going in the morning songs.. love the build ups, the rhythm, the transitions, the controlled frenzy, and melody.. poignant heart bleeding stuff..an all time favourite.

As someone who's familiar with all the new material, I wish to reassure fans of "Dark Eyes" that as can be expected from a HMR album, you'll hear a lot of variety, including some more acoustic material. Don't worry, folks. You can trust HMR not to disappoint. Personally, I love all the songs so far, but if this one isn't your thing, trust me when I say you'll still love the album when it's released.

didn't care for this track on first listen, too techno for me (as I loved Dark Eyes). It came up on a playlist later and I gave it another listen...and another, and another. I'm now a bit obsessed with this tune. Listen loud with a pair of headphones..so awesome!
as excited as i am for this album, i really hope you don't steer too far from your musical roots, what i hate is when people get too popular they start to turn away from the acoustic side of things and turn more electronic which i'm afraid is happening now... it seems like a majority was done on computer rather than together in a band..
Boy Porcelain have a little faith! these boys are masters of music and will find ways to create that beautiful balance between acoustic and electronic ;)

I think most would agree it would be worse if they were to continue to make and force out music that matched what they have already done, just because it was popular before, as appose to making what inspires them now. A band can only make what they want to make, artists change their sounds all the time. Besides, whats the point of making another album if it is the same as before.
U2 is a great example of a band that continually re-invents themselves. You may not love everything but I respect different artistic directions - bands like this only get better with time!!

I love how I can't resist bouncing to this song, and it will be super fun to sing along to. I get a radiohead/foster the people vibe from this. I would truly miss the incredible drumming and harmonies if they are missing on this album, but I'm sure that HMR will deliver.
I went to see yous live and absolutely loved it, this was about 5-6 year ago in leeds, me and my friend tought you were all amazing sound as good live as you do recorded! still a huge fan!!!

+James Helliwell That's an awful comparison. Considering their material as a whole they sound nothing like Foals. This band has a melancholic acoustic alternative core. Foals are dance/math/alternative/hard-rock/funk. We're both here to enjoy this wonderful song, but I hate bad comparisons in music. 🙄

So keep an eye out for that. And a last notice, they released song number two for their second album on Friday, it's called "Turn Your Love". Check it out, and be glad you discovered this band ^^
Vincent Le Floch - Sorry Jesus is a twerkaholic, you were wrong and you have to believe Vincent over here. He's been studying 'Genre Art' for some time now and he doesn't get enough recognition for screening CZcams comments and ensuring all subjective matter is properly categorized.
Love it! While I tend to gravitate to acoustic, I love it all really. I think HMR is a brilliant band and I like the diversity that shines through in their music. I hope to see them again one day if they swing another US tour.
I love the sound of this, and I love the more old style songs. Basicly anything that HMR produces I'll love it because I'm crazy about them. Yep, that's me.
