My opinion is contrary to most here and wouldnt like my opinion but that’s ok.
Loops are fine to use, take your success , get your money, whatever, but just don’t pretend you’re a SKILLED musician not in his this case cause hes been grinding since a long time and fs he does makes loops it was just that i could have made both thats it yeah im not anywhere near him .
Painting with brushes is a skill. using templates and spray painting with them to build up a picture is perhaps also a different skill. But the template user shouldn’t call themselves a painter @UltimateManu

in all fairness, he started with the sax loop, which is basically the entirety of the beat.
i'd recommend virtual riot's 10min drop challenge on underscores yt channel for a more comprehensive alternative to this - he started from scratch and did his usual technical wizardry in under 10 mins, and the final result is INSANE

@@MrTsuyoshi123 jesus why are all of you so dumb. the title says "we asked kshmr to make a beat in 15 minutes". using samples is totally fine, but using a full ass sax* loop is just cheating, cuz that's the beat there, he didn't chop it up, or put it into a granuliser to mess with it, or resampled it, or processed it at all (maybe he added some reverb i dont remember that).
and, my suggestion (the virtual riot 10min drop challenge) is a far far far better showcase of what a time-constraint drop/beat challenge is supposed to be like.
and no disrespect, but virtual riot is STRIDES ahead of someone like kshmr, don't forget he's worked with skrillex COUNTLESS times
and the fact it is from his sample pack, sure thing, very well, it is indeed from his sample pack that he recorded or made, but that's outside of the challenge, or if i am missing context - he made that earlier in the interview - please fill me in, in that case, it'll be kind of acceptable
