Okay, after watching your video, I picked up a cape coat. The jury was out, but I actually LOVE it. Granted it doesn't have the cartridge pocket or the game pouch in the rear, but it is hella comfortable. I'm actually digging it more than my singles and definitely not as bulky as my doubles. So, in chilly weather this is now my go to coat. Sadly all my Filsons are hibernating for the summer. ....
Filson should comp you Severely! Because of your "Great Video's" Filson gained over three thousand American dollars this year from me, so far and its not over yet!.. Lol.. I'm serious about Filson kicking in something real nice for you and for all the money their making off of your video's.. Just my opinion.. Keep up the great work! Thumbs Up!
Great job...I enjoy your videos!!! I'm addicticted to Filson and I own 12 of their jackets/coats! The Mackinaw Cruiser is my favorite...I own 6 of them in different colors! I also purchased the limited edition sherpa lined cape coat last year in the brown/black twill, and it's very warm, but I prefer the look and function of the Mackinaw Cruiser!!!
I recently bought the Filson Mackinaw Cruiser Jacket in 26 oz green & black Wool. I love it. I do like the caped version because it makes a person look more broad in the shoulders, and the snaps are great. But the regular cruiser I bought is awesome. I wear it over a poncho liner woobie hoodie most of the time. It’s extremely warm and wind proof that way. Well,… I just wanted to say: Cool videos 👍🏻 the bloopers are hilarious.
I just bought the limited edition Cape coat today. The color is lite red with gray and black plad. Beautiful coat. I live in BC and with the exchange and taxes I paid just over 1000k.
Awesome video! I just picked up this year's Machinaw Cruiser. I've returned the medium for the large but now I think I should of stayed with the medium... it's the first filson piece I purchase. I might have to send the large back lol

If you could get the double mackinah with your favorite features as the single like the pockets, snap buttons, and no slit on the side, which would be your favorite? I'm curious because I think I want the regular mackinah, I think it's more versatile. I'm thinking that double will be to warm for me to wear most of the year. But I'm wondering if the single won't be warm enough. What do you think?
I feel like the double is my favourite but I tend to use the single more. Your probably right about being more versatile but I guess depending on the area your in and how much of the year is cold temperatures. If you get it oversized I’m sure you could layer to get the warmth needed.
@@wildforwool3821 I was thinking about that too, I live in boise. It doesn't get extremely cold where I live. I think the single with that wool vest you have would be the best route for me. And maybe later when I have more money I'll get the double too lol
Yes I do, I absolutely love them and plan on ordering a few more this week. Only downfall is they are made over seas. I will make a video on my merino wool base layers soon.

But anyway, I love your videos and I love Filson as well. I hope you send some of that cold weather down my way in Delaware. Winter down here is very unpredictable. 35 degrees one day and 60 the next.
That Mackinaw cape coat is an absolutely BADASS look. Makes you look like some old school hunter/warrior or smthing. Love it!

I am trying to recall the retail pricing of these back in 19 and 20... Was the single cruiser $495 with the cape coat about $530?

Filson makes some really good wool products. Do you have any of their Marino wool baselayers?

The single macks fit like potato sacks…..not very flattering. That cape coat is tapered much nicer.
