Sasso boys can definitely scrap in the scrambles.
For some reason when they shook hands to start the match I was thinking this was like a 152 lbs match, maybe even 160. But then they showed 189 lbs and that surprised me. Maybe it's the camera angle and distance makes them look thinner lol. I don't know. These two are gonna be tough in college.
P.S. It's the camera. When Stout walked off the mat it's clear that they're big boys.
This wasnt a Robbie Rohn comeback at Lehigh University.... but if you watched Sonny through the season he never trailed in a match. Total domination, and something clicked in this match and he turned it around. These two dudes are huge and it may not seem like a huge comeback but if you understood the pressure at that moment, it was a huge swing back. Keep It Going Sonny, and cant wait to see you back Sammy. 🙏🏼
I miss the good old days when the Finals were on PCN before Flo took over and made a niche sport even more niche. Thanks Flo and the PIAA for cutting off access across Pennsylvania.

It looks like Sonny is going to Virginia Tech to wrestle. I'll bet he's going to be good. He was also Nazareth's quarterback.
Lengthy guys like this have such high ceilings in wrestling. They are so hard to wrestle. Don’t have to have great defense if they learn how to wrestle with their length. Can just drape over and catch ankles. Getting to their legs is like 5%. Guy was finishing clean in the first but once he didn’t have that explosiveness or pop anymore it was a wrap.

It happens. I think Cael Sanderson's older brothers were a good 40 or 50 pounds lighter than Cael.
