Are you trying to retrieve a specific job ID in Midjourney?
Most people who use Midjourney to create artwork rarely ever get to see a Midjourney job ID nor do they know what to do with them.
However, there are a number of specific cases where it is incredibly useful to know how to retrieve the ID of a job that you created some time ago.

so if I put --seed 100 at the end of my prompt, someone taking my public prompt will not have access to the seed parameter ?

As far as I understand and from what I've tested, this is the case. So you can't just take someone else's seed and replicate what they did. Even the prompts that you see in public don't actually contain all of the information from that original prompt. Just the text prompt, but not parameters or weights
@@TokenizedAI nice I've also checked more and arrived at the same conclusions, I've tried to copy multiple prompt just to see if there was this, and I confirm so far !

I recommend using your trial credits first in order to see whether you enjoy it or not. You can always get a paid plan later.
very useful video, but I have a question, why my midjourney bot shows “Image retrieval failure: Failed to retrieve the images for this job.”?
I don't know.

Or did you try to retrieve someone else job?
i also noticed, that if you right click and save a picture, the file name will have the prompt AND the File job ID

How do I get the ID of 1 of the 4 images that it creates? I tried the envelope but that doesn't work
The individual variations don't have unique IDs. The ID is for the "job", not the individual images. You could upscale one and then get the ID for that job, but that's not really the same thing.
Sorry but where can I find the remaster because I only have vary (strong), vary (subtle), zoom out and custom zoom
Remaster only shows up on images that were created with an older version (e.g. 5.1, 5, 4 etc)

can u plz help me to find job_id ? i cant even find seed num after using envelope icon. i am not receiving messages in discord direct messages.... i tried i turned on 'direct messages' in privacy settings. i am not receiving any messages. can i plz suggest a way to get seed no and job id ?

Are you trying this with v5? It doesn't work on upscaled images in v5 because it doesn't have an upscaler yet. Works everywhere else though.
Hm, if you use the same command as another user and with his seed number, you are going to get the same results?
In theory yes, but it looks like there are also a number of other factors that go into the equation. So it may not be reliable.

@@Tarheb But does the seed produce these new renders consistently on the same day? I'm trying to figure out the exact behavior.
But plenty of people already copy your work in the other rooms.... this allows them to replicate it because they can just select one of the images that someone has created by the normal 4 upscale or variations or the icon that allows u to regenerate the image if it was not working correctly. This will allow u to get a job i.d. please stole work from me a few times which this can be used.

How can I remaster my own picture? On mobile
Tap and hold the message. This will open a menu and from there you can select "Add reaction".

@@ah99_xd Hmm strange, you must be doing something wrong. I just tried it again and it works fine. Are you sure that you've activated DMs? If you're working inside your own Discord server, you may have to activate DMs for that server first.
