Charlies game, to me, is the most similar to Stephen Fishnack as they got to the end in a winable position, running the game strategically, but lose due to something beyond their control. Jt winning immunity or the reason for Marias vote
There was other votes up for grabs he could’ve gotten. Kenzie is the one to trick Maria at Qs boot and win immunity against her anyway

@@devondonato4609that’s true, but with multiple jurors cutting off their answers and interrupting, it was difficult for Charlie to explain the nuance of his game and push back against the idea that he was just Maria’s number two
Crazy how one of the biggest flameout first boots in Survivor history is ranked higher than 2 other people on his tribe, but I agree Bhanu and Jess played so badly and had no prospects in the game it's warranted.
I genuinely believe Charlie played the 2nd best non-winning game in Survivor history behind Boston Rob in All Stars, he had his finger on the pulse throughout and controlled the game while also keeping all doors open and managing his threat level masterfully.

I haven’t assessed Charlie compared to other non-winning games. I think he’s up there as one of the runner ups that came the closet to winning (up there with Dom)
I feel like Q, Tiff and Kenzie all regretted throwing Jelinsky out first pretty much immediately, his height probably would've been VERY helpful in that subsequent challenge with balancing the word persistence 😂
I think Dom from Ghost Island had a better game than Charlie but it’s very close
@@MalySports Dom didn't manage his threat level as well as Charlie and had to muscle his way to the end (idol bluff at 6, idol at 5 and winning immunity at 4) plus had a rocky early game.

Both Charlie and Kenzie got 3 votes based on their game/relantioships. Q and Maria´s votes had hardly anything to do with the game and there was noting else Charlie could have done to get them.
if q was voting based on his question he would have voted for ben who gave the best answer, in reality he just wanted to vote for kenzie because he was closer with her than ben or charlie who he didnt know for as long

Yes. q and Maria put too much weight on how the prize money would be used rather than outwit, outplay and outlast. They voted based on how prize money will be used and secondly how the game was played.

if the question was how much do you need the money and they all gave the same responses then kenzie would have had the best answer
but if that was the question they would have given different answers and ben would have still given the best answer because he was broke he needed that money more than the other two
@@realteamwall obiviously the one thatvneeds the money most is gonna give the best aswer. Ben's aswered sucked, "i am gonna give it to charity" is not a good aswer
Disagree on Ben placement. He had no win equity by the final 5. The only people he had a chance of winning against (Q, Venus, and Liz), he actively had a hand in voting them out. He wanted to go to the end against people he losses against. He had a great social game sure, but it doesn't matter if it only gets you 3rd place with 0 jury votes.
It's clear by the jury statements that he was viewed as a goat.

Let's be real, the Charlie's Angel alliance wasn't ever REALLY a thing, Charlie and Ben were boys from day 1 and that was always the way he and Maria were gonna swing I genuinely felt that way from the first episode, the reality is that alliance was only ever shown in the edit to foreshadow the role Charlie and Maria would play throughout the season, namely being the swing vote between two sides

I was with you until you started knocking Kenzie. She played a great game and I was rooting for her from the beginning. She was everyone's friend.
Charlie did say he would have taken Liz to the end at final tribal.
Great ranking man, I personally would only swap Maria with Charlie. Because what Liz did last Challenge shouldn't have been allowed, she wouldve won that inmunity as well then Game over for everybody else.
Tbf we dont know who wouldve won and thats her needing to win out, i personally would have charlie higher due to his much better positioning
I feel like Tevin and then Q tanked Venus' game. Tevin acted like he was God. Why couldn't Soda even TALK to Venus?? So ridiculous. Although I hated Liz, I understand why she wanted Tevin out.
Venus is #1 in my heart; i believe most games someone like her makes it to FTC and loses. In a good cast she might make it to the end and win! everyone disliked her all season long for NO REASON AT ALL.

I am very happy for Kenzie, and the fact she won but in this instance, I think I would respect the strategic gameplay and social gameplay of Charlie, a bit more over Kenzie, and vote his way even before he did not land, Maria’s vote

I have to disagree with her Soda Ranking. I think she was safe for most of the pre merge if Venus and Randen were still there. I think she'd probably go before Venus at least due to challenge ability and her social bonds. She was more than likely not going to be taken out before she was. And even then it was only due to Tevin's Paranoia. I could easily see her being like Katurah in which she's seen as a semi Social threat that isn't that big of a deal to be taken out early. I'd Say she'd go around 12-11.
Just my thoughts however. and 12-11 is Ranking Wise. I do think She was cut too soon.

i think hunter, soda, and tevin are all great players who got screwed by their tribe never going to tribal premerge
if nami threw in episode 2 and took out venus those three could end up being a very powerful force in the merge
they would probably end up in a situation where all three tribes have 4 members at final 12

with how strong hunter, tevin, and soda are socially i think they could have stuck together and gained a lot of power and could have potentially ran the game
in this scenario ive thought of we basically end up in a scenario where soda is in the final 10 instead of venus and nami is much stronger
actually i think at final 10 soda would get blindsided by the other nami members which leaves us with a final 9 that has tevin instead of venus

I was kindof surprised to see you so low on Kenzie. She's definitely better than Erika, Maryanne, and Gabler and I'm not sure it's close? She was strategically within the majority without being targeted for the entire game. She was only left out of one vote and she never needed immunity or an idol the way Erika and Maryanne did. Plus she was more game-savy than someone like Gabler. I mean if she's below Yam and Dee that's fine but she's nowhere near the worst winner of the new era. I'd have a lot of faith in Kenzie to do well on almost any season of survivor.
LOL Erika is a thousand times better than Kenzie, Erika never needed to win immunities and she had way more influence throughout the game. She won 7-1-0 while Kenzie won due to weird circumstances
@@devondonato4609 So I definitely disagree with this and I think you're coping pretty hard due to Erika's bad edit. She gets propped up way too much now by the fandom because of how her game was portrayed. But she absolutely needed immunity at the merge, the final 10, and at the very end when Ricard finished second to her because of the stupid advantage she won. She had a nice stretch of gameplay from the Shan boot to the Danny boot, but that's it. Kenzie was a much better social player and was in the majority more often, while also being targeted fewer times. It's absolutely insane how much people have misconstrued Erika to be this amazing player when she got extremely lucky on a very twist-heavy season lmao.
@@yaboi912 I never said anything about Erika’s edit LOL. I base a lot of her game on what we actually see. And no she didn’t. If she did then Heather would’ve been voted out that tribal but she didn’t. Ricard had a bond with her and wasn’t going to let her go.
Watch the final five immunity challenge Erika won, she was in the lead the entire time and by the time she won she was 25 pieces ahead of him. Now compare this to Kenzies final five immunity who literally needed Liz to get dirty while Maria was gaining a lot of speed on Kenzie and needed an ENTIRE person to EDGE her out from Maria winning. Erika’s win was a LOT more fair game and I’d say if the advantage wasn’t there she would probably still win considering she kept a consistent and huge lead the entire time.
calling Erika lucky and trying to prop up Kenzie is hilarious LOL. Kenzies entire stretch of gameplay from final 9-7 and 5-4 is bad. She actually told Hunter to use his idol but he didn’t use it according to post game and wanted Tiffany gone, then left out of the Tiffany boot, then can’t even get the numbers to keep Venus. She only does good work at the Q vote and for some reason towards the end thinks Liz is this huge threat and actively loses vote during FTC while Erika’s votes were completely locked in.
Thinking Kenzie is even on the same caliber as Erika is hilarious. She is the worst winner of the new era by miles.
@@yaboi912 Erika was in the majority THE ENTIRE TIME. The reasons Erika gets targeted was due to an unlucky exile for two days and by a singular person in Shan and towards the endgame when people actually see she’s a threat but she has such a stranglehold people can’t do anything. Kenzie literally had no power the entire season in comparison

Jess is not a worse player than Q. Yeah, she's an early boot, but she's also the only one this season who played an idol at all. Q is a goat with ZERO win equity that people still refused to drag to the end because his presence was just bad for the tribe. Only Bhanu should give him competition for #18 here.
It wasn’t even an idol it was sitd and it’s because it was so obvious she was the vote that night. Like she’s definitely 18 don’t even try and say she’s not

Hunter should be MUCH lower. He did absolutely nothing but get targeted, got carried socially, and was immediately left out of the vote at the Tevin boot and once that happened he had not traction in the game THEN proceeded to not play his idol when he KNEW he was a target. It’s worse game than Venus’s imo

I think it is pretty funny that DJ was the first boot but wasn't even the worst player on his tribe. This is my thing with Jelinsky, I think he has some potential and he does know the game despite his placement I jus think the way he sold his story to the tribe about the sweat challenge and the journey didn't do him any favors

truth to be told, what do we expect to get from Maria and Q who has irrational and inreliable thought process in voting?? that's inevitable and Uncle Carlie can't do anything about that... thanks for Q and Maria who screwed this season, this could have been a Top Tier Season if not because of 'em.

1. Gabler (if you disagree you need to educate yourself)
2. Yam Yam (great character, great player, dominated the game with the tika 3)
3. Maryanne (i wouldnt have voted for her but over time ive just been more and more okay with her winning over mike and its clear why mike didnt win)
4. Dee (i get why dee won but i think austin is a far better player)
5. Kenzie (her win is nonsense)
6. Erika (her win is more nonsense)
Charlie’s game overrated. His game is like let’s see how safe and see how I can get dragged to the end.

@@quarterhawk0495 I just said he’s overrated and “playing it safe” the ENTIRE game with little influence to how it’s playing out while Maria does the work and Kenzie is the one to trick Maria in the end. It’s easy to see how a jury doesn’t award him the win
What's wrong with playing it safe? He put himself in a position to where he'd always get taken to the end. That's brilliant social and strategic play.
