super yacht levels of volume and space in catamarans

I often find that designers have no idea what to do with all the space on these bigger catamarans, but I love the layout on this one. Probably my favorite Cat layout.
    Thanks for the tour!

Beautiful yacht. So much room for activities as the saying goes. Cheers Steve.

I love that Steve has the confidence to toss out proprietary boat slang. “engine sticks” is by far my favorite so far

I rarely like much of the interiors of boats. This is an exception because I LOVE it down to the linin on the beds !!! Thanks, Steve for showing us.

800 lbs lift capacity on the rear platform is inadequate. Full sized supercharged skis have curb weights between 880-1090 lbs. (Yamaha GP 1800 SVHO is lightest, Kawasaki Ultra 310 LX is heaviest). And thats without gear.

I love this vessel big time. I saw it when Nauti Styles put their video out two weeks ago. I hope Captain Steve takes her out to see how she handles. I love how all the spaces just work well together and how it has the balcony ahead of the flybridge. I would think this works well when handling lines and fenders while under way. Nice boat deck with plenty of happy spots (entertainment spaces) to have a great time. I can definitely see myself on this vessel anchored in a beautiful cay in the Bahamas drinking sun-downers. Thanks Captain Steve
    Take care

@@mrabrasive51 unfortunately they have turned into a merchandise channel. Pushing their fashion label, sunglasses or some other product they want for their new boat like that stereo company. Of course they are now fully on board with their boat maker Bering now selling them I believe. Also they like many channels have started those annoying short videos of about 20 seconds. Obviously CZcams sent something out that said they would be a good idea to maintain interest in the channel. For me it does the exact opposite..

@@foxxster3565 I agree. Annoying short videos are not what I like, and indeed does the opposite for enjoyment as you say. Algorithm for ya 🤷‍♂

I sail a small keelboat but was invited aboard a 70ft Horizon for a day trip a few years ago. The owner took great pride in detailing the finishes and telling me why he had chosen a Horizon. He had even visited the factory in Taiwan during the build. He made a great case for the brand and in the unlikely event I can ever afford a yacht like this I will be sure to contact Nauton Swan. 🤣. I was seriously impressed but there was nowhere to stow my spinnaker pole. Loved the video though.

So Capt. Steve, what would be your 3 best power catamaran preferences on your shortlist? I hope you make a dedicated video for it. A Top 3 or Top 5 best power catamarans personal choice.

The main salon is unreal but 3'5" over the berth is a little tight for me.

Finishes are incredible but I think the Aquila layouts are way better. A lot about that boat felt incredible and then you got to the master stateroom, quite the let down. Think horizon really has to figure out how to do a full beam master suite.

I have a love & hate relationship with this channel. I love Captain Steve's insight and features review, but I hate the cameraman footage and editing work. It would be nice to have a more continuous flow as you walk through the boat. Instead, Captain Steve suddenly appears in a new area, camera facing him and not the room or how he got there. The guest rooms for example. Even with the layout shown, it is confusing to figure out the general flow for the boat.

great boat. great video you always leave us having checking off all the question box's of questions someone would have. answered. one thing i think the builder missed. in this day and age of say mad crew who could take a pay off to break down the boat. i would never , have the wiring room where anyone can get to it. and the door locks would be state of art. even a pressure padded floor with only my weight coded in. crews are wild cards, rules some don't follow. hands off females charters. no photos, no cells, don't go where you shouldn't. i used to run a tight charter. i would run drills , man over board, fire drills, ditch bag drills, medical emergency's, even the guests had to take part for a hour so they new what to do. i didn't want pissed off wives tossing there old husbands over board at sea. haha. i still think you should come up with your own sun block line for crews and owners. boat test .com approved
