Yes, yes, yes to Ephraim’s video🎉 I love how much your kids have gotten more involved as they’ve gotten older. They are still so much fun but we can see them maturing right before our eyes.
I was gonna wait to order this book until sometime after it released. Then after watching chef AJ prepare one of her recipes a few weeks ago she had said in order to be in New York bestseller they would count pre-orders and the books ordered one week after release. I did not realize that the timing of my purchase in that small window made such an impact. I ordered my book on the spot. It will be delivered on Tuesday. Let’s help Chef AJ get a New York Times bestseller. The recipes look delicious. Thank you for testing out these recipes and a shout out to chef AJ for putting in so much work to develop recipes like this!!!!❤
Thanks for this video!! I have been anticipating this book as I am a huge fan of desserts and sweets, in general. My biggest Achilles heel in my WFPB journey. I am the woman who bought a Ninja Creami so I could eat my morning oatmeal and fruit as ice cream on the hot summer days, in addition to regular plant based frozen dessert goodness. lol
Glad I watched this video until the end to hear that the book has ratings regarding sweetness, fat, etc. While watching, I was thinking the recipes look delicious but have way too many dates and cashews. I’m a Chef AJ fan and want to support her so I will be ordering the book. I’m sure there are recipes in there I will love that are lower fat and sugar. The others I will use for special occasions. Thanks for the review and pointing out at the end that there are a variety of recipes.
🌿🌷🌿 Hi Marilyn, After watching & listening to Chef A.J. for years, she possibly will have some suggestions, in the book, for us to use as swap-out ingredients. Best wishes! 🌿🌷🌿
I am so excited! My book is waiting for me at home today though I was not expecting it until the 27th! I am off tomorrow too.. Bake day!!! Also, I always have cooled sweet potato in my fridge. Just a fun fact about me. Lol
As a Chef AJ fan I’ve really been on the fence about ordering this book. The last thing I need is another cookbook, but this review convinced me. So thanks a lot for reviewing it, now I’ve got to spend more money!! LOL. Seriously, I really enjoy these review videos. So fun. This is Laura from the Central Coast of California.
Another awesome cookbook review video Jeremy and family with unbiased opinions of Chef AJ's dessert recipes and love 😍 her channel. My favourite vegan plant based dessert is anything with chocolate in it. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Jeremy & family
I have purchased vanilla powder on Amazon. Chef AJ raves about Local Spicery and that is the best place to purchase vanilla powder. It's spendy but you use half as much and taste is far superior. ;)
Thanks for reviewing this. All the sweet treats look delicious. I follow Chef AJ but am a savoury rather than sweet person. I also wish to avoid the sweetness & fat which trigger me into overeating.
I think this has the most highly rated recipes by your family so far. I cannot WAIT for my copy to arrive on 8/27, which happens to be my birthday. Nice gift I gave myself 😁 All the recipes presented look delicious! I’m looking forward to making the cinnamon bun . I love a good muffin but I think I will leave off the frosting. Do you think you could cut the hockey puck in 2 pieces and make a whoopie red pie out of it?
K you sold me the book on your reaction to the lemon poppy seed cookies. So hard to find a truly lemony baked good, whether store bought or homemade. Am gonna purchase!
Thank you for his recipes so I can know which ones to start with because I just bought the book 2 days ago you guys are so awesome thank you. Lisa in Crystal River Florida home of the manatees

Perhaps Google gave you an image for Portland, Maine? 🙂 Please find a different picture representing our lovely Rose City. Thank you.❤️
Oh my goodness, I’m such an idiot. I’m so so sorry. Please apologize to every single person in Portland for me and tell them that I desperately want to go there and I’m sorry in advance! I promised to fix this moving forward.
Loved the video. When trying to follow along with the ingredent list and your explanation, the lemon poppyseed cookies did not jive; the list of ingredients listed bananas, flax seeds, nut/seed butter and other ingredents Wooly did not mention when making the cookies and the ingredent list does not have lemon, lemon zest or poppyseeds listed as ingredients. So not sure if what Wooly used was even the right stuff for the cookies. Maybe you can clarify????? Anyway I really liked this video, just a bit confused on that recipe.

I like Well Your World's recipes, too because they are flavourful without the salts sugars and oils, but was pretty jazzed to see the sweets and pastry only, one was on its way. However the review was a relief! and the food looked good.
Thanks for the video, I love you and your family and Chef AJ too! I have this book on advance order from Australia. You have a typo at the top of your chart, it should be "superb", not "suberb".
I bought the cookbook and it looks amazing! Just be aware that these are not budget- friendly recipes. Some of them require 2lbs of medjool dates and 2lbs of nuts--$40+ for a single dessert! 😳
actually only ONE recipes specifies Medjool, the date shake which calls for 3. For all the other recipes I recommend Dehlet Noor which at least in the U.S. are widely available for $2.79 per pound
You can easily swap them out with deglet dates - which are super cheap. And there are affordable places to buy nuts like Costco, which are far cheaper than what you're suggesting here. Maybe if you're shopping at Whole Foods this is the case, but there's loads of affordable options for people.
Thank you for sharing the recipes I had looked and watched AJ with another chef called jovant and AJ a lot of times if she has a book she doesn't put the ingredients underneath the posting. I'm not going to buy the book just for that one dessert ugh
My philosophy is that people aren’t likely to buy a book to get one or two recipes. But give them a handful to try out and if they like them they’re more likely to buy the book - which I know happens a lot from our reviews.
I have AJ's permission. All the authors I've done reviews for have appreciate the attention our videos bring the book, which generally leads to sales for them - as it has in this case.
Not everyone needs to lose weight and there is a huge since who wants gluten and sugar free desserts that I am serving. Most recipes are LOW FAT and NO NUTS, SEEDS OR AVOCADO. 108 of the 157 recipes are LOW-FAT
I know, right! Tami said she kept dropping these things off while she was testing and Tom gained 5 pounds in a short amount of time. I plugged a few of the sample recipes into Cronometer. Wow! No matter if it's healthy, bottom line, fat is fat, sugar is sugar and too much is unhealthy.
