In 2018 Police found a huge cannabis farm hidden in a vast maze of underground tunnels from an 1800’s Stone quarry , also used in the 1980’s by Heinz to grow mushrooms for its soup .

What a terrible place to grow the bugs and mold must have been a nite mare... As well none of it was organic... surely they used pesticides !!!

I've grown in worst place than that, as long as you can seal the room and have a inline fan bringing fresh air in through a pipe from the outside and another one extracting air from the grow room then mold is not a problem, you can easily manipulate the growing conditions inside a gow room for growing cannabis.
