Hey. I have a question. Generally opensource sw is free for individual use and charge fee for large scale. And can I start a license issuing authority for procedures or invention and innovations? Because for sw it's okay. But there are wonderful innovations in science and tech but if some cruel company takes patent as that have money. And normal person cannot take patent in countries like India mostly as it involves huge amount of fee. I want to start a licensing standard for opensource innovation.

Is so confusing to talk about free software in English due to its own limitations of confusing free of price with free of freedom, is not like in Romance languages that you have libre and gratis.

And what if people patent it or don't patent it, but install it ILLEGALLY on someone's devices without their permission or knowledge. Oh wait I already know that answer.

This video is a prime example of saying nothing with as many words as possible. This guy probably wants 8 hours worth of "paid salary" before he blurrs out the real boundaries.
-1:10 can you outline the main types of open source licenses?
Example: can I take the product, alter it and sell it, like Google closed sourced the Android OS?
Google didnt even change the name but closed sourced it? What?
The most useful bit of information was the word "public domain"...
I heard huawei made their own open source software to "compete" with the android becuse google has alot of "terms and conditions" or the US government created sanctions that limit Chinese companies from using "US technology".

Its a misinformation campaign to keep competitors out? Without fair use laws Google would have been a pipe dream, yet they hold themselves out to be something they are not? Shrug.
Open source is not what most people think it is? A license to a copyright is invalid if it prohibits fair use? Called deceptive advertising.
