I can never listen to Bringing on the Heartbreak on the radio without instantly hearing Switch in my head. It was the most profound reintroduction of this song like it was always ment to be this way and I will forever hear it this way. Happy belated Heavenly Birthday Steve your are still greatly missed.
Cape Cod Colliseum, June '83. Gary Moore, Krokus and the headliner... Def Leppard. It was rescheduled due to Joe Elliot's throat infection. It was the first day of summer, school was out and one hell of a good time. Perfect start to the summer of '83.
My dad saw them on the early US leg of the tour. They were not yet the headline -- they were opening for Billy Squier. But everyone was there to see Def Leppard.
@@DefLep4Eva1995 I attended a Billy Squier concert because the classic rock radio station in Arkansas was broadcasting his songs. I was angry! to this day I refuse to listen to Squier. I went backstage to meet Def Leppard Hysteria tour, before the show. I have attended every DL show possible.
Yes at this time, the "Guest" was a real guest : I saw Def Leppard the first time, opening for Judas Priest in 1981. And as a headlining in 1982 on the High1Dry Tour, my favourite Def Leppard album ever. Thank You, CasperParis.Fr
There really is not a bad track from the High n Dry album. Mirror mirror, Another hit and run, On through the Night, are all great tracks from this album.
This is not a "long version". On the album "Switch 625" plays immediately next. So this is how you hear it on the album. It's just like "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" by Queen.
This is the theme song for my life! Saw in concert with Steve and many times after... LP, cassette, CD, digital - always in my car, always a go to for a great day or shit day! Thank you SO much for this video!!! Best energy in the whole damn world!
Saw the pyromania tour august of 83 Uriah Heep opened for them and then def leppard. Its crazy they played in Rapid City South Dakota i was going to be a junior in High School that was an awesome night left there and went to the fair that was also going it was even a weekend no bands played the weekend. That place was packed to the gills and they absolutely killed it.
Anyone ever heard ‘Disintegrate’ from the Euphoria album I think. That and Switch 625 I believe are the only true instrumentals DL have ever made. But they are damn good!! ❤️
Pete Willis and Steve Clark rocked together.. Nothing against Phil Collen he's great too but High N Dry is one of the greatest rock records of all time! \m/
First time I saw these guys they opened for Billy Squire in 82. They were raw and it was fantastic. Didn't like the following techno rock added (live) following pyromania but still fun shows. Won't forget that first show straight through the board and amps. This video might have been from that year in fact
Great sound, but not sure if this is from High and Dry or Pyromania tours? Video shows both. The audio matches the Pyromania footage better than the High and Dry.
this sounds like what one might imagine they'd play 30 minutes after their dealer stopped by. ...and when you wish the settings had a .85 speed-setting.
I don’t know why they don’t play switch 625 after that song on the radio that is so so wrong after all of the other songs They play from other bands. That just doesn’t make sense.

R.i.p. Steamin Steve.
I'll never forget meeting you.
You changed me.
Thank you
✌️
Love Switch 625, one of my favorite Def Leppard songs!
Nothing wa greater than the first 2 albums
Pete willis was so much of it.
There’s three first albums the rest after them are shit right after pyromania.

The harmonizing in the chorus is ON POINT!! Entire performance is phemomenal!!
1983 Def Leppard Pyromania tour. Krokus was the opening act for Leppard. This was my first time to attend a Def Leppard concert.
My dad saw them on the early US leg of the tour. They were not yet the headline -- they were opening for Billy Squier. But everyone was there to see Def Leppard.

I saw that tour at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin. Def Leppard,Krokus,Gary Moore, and Uriah Heep.
Saw them June 2, 1983 in Hampton, VA. It was my first concert and they blew me away. They've been my favorite band ever since 🤘

Mirror mirror doesn’t get a lot of attention it’s one of my favorites!
@@tessamohler3021 Same. I love how on this album they change tempo and riff briefly just to add tension. Like at the end of On Through the Night.
AFTER ALL THESE FUCKIN YEARS I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW DL HAD A LONG VERSION OF THIS TRACK. STANDING OVATION 👏👏👏👏

Hell yeah!!!!
RIP STEVE CLARK!!!!

Def Leppard absolutely brilliant live❤️❤️❤️
..The Late Great....Steve Steaming Clarke....RiP ...
Was honored to see you in pyromainia and hysteria tour...😥
Pete willis was awesome.
Epic live footage
Excellent live version. Damn fantastic! 👏

Crazy how one of their favorite bands opened for them lol but that had to be an awes6freakin show. Lucky you

Cobra Kai never dies!
Great to see leppard when Rick still could drum and with Pete Willis on guitar
Pete Willis and Steve Clark rocked together.. Nothing against Phil Collen he's great too but High N Dry is one of the greatest rock records of all time! \m/
I think he can still drum. It is cool to see the era of the band of course, for lots of reasons. They're really polished live.
And don't forget the amazing Steve!
Los gemelos del terror nos engalanan con su presencia
Saw them open for Pat Travers in Portland, wow 👌
Gr8 job guys 555 God bless u ALL
Muy bueno y lo mejor es que no lo había visto ni oído.
Great video, but the footage is from several concerts. Several instrument, wardrobe and even band member(Pete and Phil) changes for it be at one show.
Yes. It is a mash-up live video and is not meant to be a serious live recording. It is only made for entertainment purposes.
WOW! i'm lucky like #506! cool af! 😁
lol 😁 i don't remember liking this one though for some reason or another.....p.s. i kinda know why BUT i aint saying......😁
I noticed that they aren't singing "heartbreak" they are repeating the phrase "bringin' on the heartache" just thought that was interesting.
Good ear!

Pete fukn Willis 😂🤘🤙🫴👌🖖✌️🤞👍🫶🤝🙏💪🤟
It should be against the law to play Bringing on the Heartbreak without playing Switch 625!
Great sound, but not sure if this is from High and Dry or Pyromania tours? Video shows both. The audio matches the Pyromania footage better than the High and Dry.
It is a compilation of some clips from 1981 and 1983. The audio is from 1983.

Don't you just love it...rock n roll baby
👍👌🙏
xx ✌️ xx *the best* of you I hope is to come soon.... x59x
LOL 😁 x59x
why is it soo fast...
their dealer had stopped by 30 minutes before they played this
!

Can tell a huge difference between Collen and Willis. Was wondering what was missing
So start out with PETE and put Phil (I hate shirts) Collen in on top, over Pete's playing? Seriously? GTFO
Shitty way too ditch Pete ! 😢
Too fast...
Yup exactly merry go suck keeps roll in..... 7778
make this a good 7 min.....only im not in this moody mood......🤔🥸🤔
