I was there a few weeks ago, seen a Condor! There are signs up saying do not throw coins into the canyon because it kills them from nickel poisoning
I can confirm that. Seeing the condors was awesome.. saw some about midway down from the Rim, pretty easy to spot because they are so absolutely huge and lazily gliding on the plentiful thermal winds. I was surprised to them, so I guess the population has recovered well. Ugly up close but majestic soaring above that landscape. Definitely have those signs, too. Haha.

Anyone knows of any deals from NYC to grand canyon, by train or air?
Finding a discount flight to Las Vegas, will get you close enough to take a bus tour to The Grand Canyon, or to rent a car, or to fly over the Canyon by helicopter. Lots of Grand Canyon tour companies depart out of Las Vegas, just a short distance away, thus it's a starting point for tourists from all over the world to go see the Grand Canyon.
I've never been to the Grand Canyon. I know that Catherine Pidgeon & Sophie Limyin have been there in February 2018.
