During the hoenn tour, I took a snapshot only once and caught a shiny smeargle
Shiny smeargle is only ever available during the festival of colors. Otherwise it's shiny locked at all other times.

I love how the Shiny Odds for this are the same odds as in the actual Pokemon games
With community days it only has the Pokémon that is featured in that community day and other than that it’s smeargle

It used to work like this with 5 shots at 1 pkm but they changed it.
The snapshot pkm now will only apear at the first photo of a encaunter, the photo icon will also have a 3 ring glow for a second that's the signal you got one.
Soo you Need to do 5 shots at different pkm for this to work

That pikachu was shiny locked but when they opened shiny pikachu back on you whould get a shiny so its immpossible to get it

Smergale is shiny locked excluding certain events, also chances during that event are pretty common, I've got 3 shiny Smergale, my partner has 2 and her Mum also has 2 😅
