Mudrock takes closest tower from her current location. To make her take the tower occupied by 3 ops (left), you have to keep blocking her with Cardigan or any good tanks 1:50 After that it'll be easier to burst with Volcano or Ceobe before Mudrock's 2nd tower cap
@@Equinoctilus the minute mudrock casts her hammer to take the left tower, IMMEDIATELY retreat the defender blocking mudrock. This should help fix your timing issue, if not try again till u get it right.
Trying to do this with a high-end squad was actually a huge pain in the ass because the higher DP costs add up. But the strat still works with a little different deployment order.
She produces more damage than both Jessica and Meteor at equal levels before E2 and she barely has lower atk points than May and Vermeil (by 20-ish points).
Because I don't level up some lower rarity operators, I got into DP cost problem, which become capture timing problem. But substitute one defender with Gravel and tweaking a bit got the result. Thanks for the guide!

I wonder how many tries it took for this to time. For example at 2:25, Beagle having her block 3 enemies would enable to mudrock ignore her. If somehow a single enemy dies too fast, she'd block mudrock as well then the wall would get broken because mudrock would now target her.
I keep trying to do this, but I can't imitate what you're doing. It seems you somehow kill the mobs faster than I do and I end up with more than 6 mobs at the end there and one slips through my defenders. I also tried switching up with stronger units, but the increased DP cost will seriously screw up the run, because it takes too long to take over the towers. Edit: I manage to beat it by not withdrawing midnight like you have, I just ended up summoning Cardigan to block the extra units.
Is it pure luck which ones Mudrock controls? I've tried mimicking this strat and it never works. Edit: No, it's not random. I was just messing up the timing on my early block. Strat worked perfectly after that!
@@vachellchristiansen6396 Retreat Cardigan (I used Nian, works perfectly too) during Mudrocks downward swing for her 4th attack; if you leave her alone after that, she will always snag the same towers every time.
The thing is, one can control midnight skill activation, but not Lappland, all her skills are offensive, which means half the time she's using her skill on absolutely nothing.
At 2:12 she will take my top right tower and I can't seem to prevent it no matter wtf I do....I tried not putting any OP there and deploying 5 OPs at the left side but she still take it??? In ur video however I don't see her do that and Idk why... I thought it was because there's no allies at the right side but as I mentioned above that doesn't seem to be the case
@@StormNehalem I ended up using the exact same squad after giving up so I maxed out every unit he used in the video and skilled 7 them and everything and Midnight dies I think it's because we don't have them at trust 200 and there's no way to max that out before this event leaves so I think it's just over for us
At the end, one or two enemies escapes. I don't know what's the problem... I use Blue Poison in Kroos' place to get more DPS, but no matter what do I do, Mudrock escapes.
