Due to that, the video shown at the party became humiliating as Lydia was hurt, embarrassed and angry at Stacey’s actions that was somewhat caused by Lydia’s own behavior with the boy they both were interested in. It all took Stacey being chewed out and having to learn lesson to make her redeem herself by rejecting the boy for good and set up a better party later that night to get Lydia to fully forgive her for real.
i wish her mom would’ve at least asked Stacy if she was finished with it, or at least watch the video fully through before just sending it to Lydia’s mom! could’ve avoided SO much!! but i’m glad they made up at the end

She made matters worse by actually dating the guy and then acted like the victimthe entire movie it makes me sick, how she totally gaslight Stacey. The video was at accident and totally on her mom. For going on our computer and sending it out without her knowledge, Stacy made the video to vent her anger but she never planned on anyone seeing it. Lydia really didn't deserve the sacrifice stacy made for her in my opinion but stacy is the only one who actually learned and grew, her sacrifice proved it.
