OMG that the wheels falling off, that's hilarious! Thats a sweet plane, crashed timber x and Brewster, I put nose weight on it but it was windy, great video guys!!!!
The Timber X is a cool, a whole lot of plane for a high wing! The timber can be flown in a forest, but the Timber X can be flown INSIDE A TREE.. LOL I love the Timber line, especially the origional, but they were specifically designed for lightest weight and STOL characteristics-NOT for durability or winds, but the ACRO & 3D ACRO upgrades sure do make us forget how delicate they are. Nose weight doesn't help the full scale Cub either when winds kick up..even some full size planes are too light! We fly, we learn, we buy more planes till we get it right, but it ain't easy!
I like how Bobby K wasted no time putting that bird through its paces. Who needs landing gear. Great video and very cool plane!

I like the RV8 because it doesn't even look 3d, it seems as if it would be the perfect cropdusting platform.
Funny thing is it reminds me of one military planes converted into ground support from crop duster duties.

Sweet flying plane... I will always have a history with a RV 8. My friend and flight instructor was killed in a RV 8 about 10 years ago. He had a midair with a Nanchang and lost a wing and spun in...

Probably not bad to reprogram for another bird too. I bought a plane with one in and am looking forward to flying it, especially at night.

Geez Bobby, you don' have to set up the Aura 8, it's already done for you, I just S bussed my Spektrum 8010 into it and set the radio up by the book. BTW, you should use the wheel pants on it and some Lock-Tite or Foam-Tac at least to keep the wheels on her LOL

Any news on the Arrows RC MiG-29??? Really interested in that.. hopefully it has the power!!
A guy in my club has this plane and tried to maiden it last night but the ESC kept desyncing. He calibrated it according to the instructions but after taxiing it around it would beep and cut out. That would be disastrous in the air. Any tips?
Apparently there is a very complicated work around for some of the ESCs that got out on some of these planes. Not happy with that.

Pilot Ryan, how did you setup the CG on this RV 8. The manual says to measure from the trailing edge of the wing. Is this correct. How did you get the plane to balance? Thanks.

Put the aura back in;) it comes with three pre programned modes by QQ and gang. One is a Crow mode that is super fun
You should put out a video on how to program those into your radio and all. If you don't have one. Crow mixed with throttle on a full house powered glider on Futaba took me a week.
Crow in a dive would be cool.

Love The flex RV8. Aura is hands down best flight control on the market, ezy-peezy out of the box, plug in a SRLX cable and done.
You can quick set with a bind plug and get expert mode, flaps in the aileron mode full span ailerons , and a throttle mixed crow set up !

Just another verification that you don't need a gyro to fly an rc plane. They are just unnecessary.

@@PilotRyanMedia seems like the included stabilizer is one of their big selling points, yet the plane flies fantastic without it. Preferred, yes. Needed, absolutely not. Just saying, monkey pants. 😉
