The "every other Barbie" have the Mille face-mold, yes they do look alike. Most of them with no articulation with one arm bend usually come from a playset, the number painted in the back is usually Mattel's playset's number. You can just google it, with Mattel ref, and then the number. The best-tanned Barbie with Millie's face and blond hair (in my opinion) is the one from Barbie Loves the Ocean. She has streaks of strawberry blond and brown. striking blue eyes. I re-bodied her on a made-to-move body. If you start a Barbie collection, I recommend any doll with a closed mouth and side eyes. They always look more high-end for playline dolls.

I don't collect too many Barbie dolls except for the older articulated Fashionistas. I have found some older articulated Fashionistas and outfits in boot sales and 2 Barbie basics looking amazing. I try not to collect more Barbie dolls because of space.
I love Fail Fix dolls. It is sad they have been discontinued so fast. 😪

disneystore doll use polypropylene for the hair ... which is the worst and cheapest quality ever. such a shame as they do make the most beautiful dolls .. especially the recent Ariel doll.. which has bad quality hair. Im sure you can fix it though!
