Every Airlines Chooses the A321XLR than Boeing! Here's Why
At this year's Farnborough International Airshow in the UK, US aircraft manufacturer Boeing did not bring any passenger aircraft to attend, due to focusing on handling scandals related to incidents on the 7 3 7 Max. That's why all the attention will be on Airbus' new aircraft A3 21 XLR. As the next evolutionary step of the A3 20 Neo, this will be the aircraft to meet market demand for greater range and payload. So how far is the progress for the new plane? What is it about the A3 21 XLR that makes airlines so interested? Let's find out in today's episode!

    Assembly Facility
Every Airlines Chooses the A321XLR than Boeing! Here's Why
Recently, Airbus announced that it has completed a new assembly line for the A3 21 XLR aircraft in Hamburg. Set a new step in the process of bringing new long-haul jets to passengers.
In Hamburg, Airbus celebrated the inauguration of Hangar 246, which included guests from the Hamburg Ministry of Economic Affairs, suppliers as well as teams at sister companies from Germany and abroad. This will see the construction and assembly of various fuselage skins, as well as the installation of the Rear Center Tank. This is a key part of the XLR's ability to deliver a class-leading range of 8,700 kilometers.
Every Airlines Chooses the A321XLR than Boeing! Here's Why
Among the guests attending the event was Senator Melanie Leonhard, head of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the city of Hamburg. She said: “The Airbus A3 21 XLR is a truly impressive example of technological development, efficiency, and sustainability and can drive forward exactly these issues in aviation.” She expressed the view that Hangar 246 is one of the most modern production halls in the world and sets new standards in efficiency and innovation. As a show of goodwill, the City government thanked Airbus and its partners for being able to complete this facility in such an incredibly short period of time.

The reason why Boeing is not present at Farnborough is not primarily due to the criminal charges, it's something more fundamental than that. Boeing has no new products. They could - I guess - show off the 777-9 test prototype, but that would only highlight the fact this plane is 6 years late.

also the narrative said Boeing DID not bring .... which may be true but is not grammatically correct as Farnborough does not start until next week ( 22 July) so they will not bring would be appropriate.

@@nickgiles7568so the narrative will only be grammatically incorrect until July 22. After that, it will be correct grammar for years and years. See how that works?

OMG !! Yes, it's true that criminal proceedings against Boing are not fundamental!...In full denial!!!

EASA has certified the Airbus 321XLR ahead of the Farnborough Airshow. It will interesting to see how the problematic of the RCT (rear center tank) has been solved to the regulator's satisfaction. The weaknesses of the XLR remain evident to the eye: 1. The four-wheel only main landing gear: 2. The very high wing-load; 3. The lack of jettisoning. All this makes it a doubtful candidate to operate out of hot & high airports, and from short- and contaminated-runways. To be a substitute for the venerable 757, it would have needed an 8-wheel MLG, bigger wings and larger flaps.

A max 8 can fly 8+ hours. A max 7 if introduced, maybe 9+ hours. No extra tanks required.

It’s an AI channel, save your finger muscles. It’s nicely set up though; the only blatant giveaway is the automated liking and replying to comments with either: “thanks for your comment”, “thanks for sharing”, or emojis.
