  • Ok, so this Queso Blanco Dip is seriously amazing! Only 3 ingredients, simple and delicious. You must try this recipe because I guarantee you will love it. And you will be the hit at any party!
    Queso Blanco Dip
    1 pound of White American
    1 4oz can of green chilies
    1/2 cup of milk (I use the can to measure the milk)
    Place all ingredients in a pot and stir frequently until melted. If you want the dip thinner add more milk, if you want the dip thicker add less. It does set up as it cools so if it seems thin just let it cool a little and it might be the consistency you like.

    Using extra heavy cream rather than milk (which is much thinner) is also good for those who like a richer, thicker type of consistency.

    • @mollyidk
      @mollyidk Před 2 lety +2

      @@PoeLemic never heard of that place, but based off the ad video for the restaurant i watched, i think it would work. their sauce looks thick enough to stay on a spoon so i’d say try it. but i’ve never had it before so if you make it and it’s to thick with heavy cream and to thin with milk, try a mixture of the 2 to get a better consistency since i’m guessing you’ve tried that restaurant meal and will be able to accurately judge it.

Never made queso before but im tired of paying the high prices for pre-made queso out of the jar just for it to be gone after 2 or 3 servings! However i am a big fan of a queso made by "on the boarder" which is a jalapeño queso! But im also a big fan of queso blanco! I think im going to try mine with the white american cheese you suggested but use jalapenos for the peppers! I anticipate its gonna be SOOOO GOOOOOD! 😁 Thank you for this tutorial!

    Land O Lakes white American cheese had been discontinued so bought some Boar’s Head which is more expensive and excellent quality.
    Used the mild chiles since my roommates don’t love spicy dip and then used whipping cream. I’d put it up against any Mexican restaurant cheese dip I’ve ever eaten at.
    Common sense but eat it as soon as you pull it off the stove top before it becomes too thick. Tasted incredible!
