Fire Damages Bakeshop In Macanhan, Brgy. Carmen

An afternoon fire partially damaged a bakeshop and an adjacent bussiness along the Balulang road in Macanhan, Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro, May 12, 2020. Firefighters from the Bureau of Fire Protection who happened to be nearby assisting a quarantine post, immediately responded and doused the fire that may have started in the bakeshop oven before it could spread to more business establishments in the strip. Sios-e Online News, along with media outlets, interviewed the chief of the Carmen Fire Station, SFO4 Samson Velarde, who said people should continue to be vigilant specially with the continuing hot weather conditions in our locality.
