Caroline Almeida the pigment mat not be bad but in order to get those colors vibrant or even just to see them you have to lighten it with "bleach" And that's the damaging part. Some people bring it down to lighten the previous color and that's obviously worse. But if your just putting color on top of color, that's not bad at all.
The only thing I will say is from experience, semi permanent hair dyes stain the hair a lot better if left in for long periods of time. I actually sleep with manic panic or overtone in my hair and it helps stain it. Think of your clothes, the longer a stain is left to set in, the harder it is to remove it. So only do this if you’re committed to the colour you chose. I use reds because that’s what I’m committed to at the moment
I used to use directions and leave it on for hours, until I got bored and wanted to wash my hair hahaha. It always felt softer after dying it because it was conditioning but everyone used to freak out thinking it would damage it! I never slept in it though, because I wiggle around in my sleep a lot and it would probably be all over my skin
BASICALLY-the colour contains NO AMMONIA! that’s the chemical that opens the cortex layer, it just sits on top of the hair shaft. hope that helps Namii and everyone else.

ZozziFox this. I dyed my hair purple and it faded to a blue, which looked pretty cool. But then I wanted it blonde, so I bleached it 2 times and it still was a lime colour. To get the lime colour out I used pink and red dye over it to neutralize it and eventually you couldn't see the lime colour anymore, after that I still had a ton of different colors. 😂 Now I'm just a platina blonde
I really appreciated the "raw footage" parts, everything looked much more realistic! Could you take into consideration doing more videos without filters? Especially the ones of you doing you hair would look much better with natural lighting💖💖
I don’t like to use filters because for every footage a filter will look different. I always just color grade and color correct customized to the shot to make the colors look more dimensional like how we see things in person as the camera tends to flatten things out but in exchange, sometimes the colors of other things get over saturated so it’s hard to get something to look really like real life without using 4 different methods of color grading or correcting or filters to make it look closest to what the human eye sees in person XD

Certain people will feel the need to tell me my hair will fall out, but they don't realize I've been dying my hair for over 8 years, I typically take care of it, and I don't change my color for 3-6 months (sometimes for a whole year). When I don't change it, I just bleach the roots. Usually as long as someone takes care of their hair during and after the bleaching process, it's not really a big issue. Also, the right products help so much. Soooo, I feel you. You do you, Nami. The green looks good on you.
exactly ! dyeing hair often feels like a deep conditionning treatment when you use the right products (lime crime, overtone, etc) so it's even better than just leaving the hair alone :D my hair is always so smooth and soft after i dye it

Like it's not a bad colour it'll just be hard to switch it up. I've ordered a really pink based purple manic panic colour on Amazon because we can't get manic panic in the UK, that's my next colour (hopefully it won't look horrific when applied over this aqua teal situation) love you Nami xx

Both my sister and I used to use overtone on our hair. (I shaved off my hair and she went back to brown.) I love their brand and they have shampoos you can use to maintain your color during washes so it doesn’t fade as much. They’re really dope and vegan.
Hair is there to experiment. If you know how to do it like you do then go for it. I've changed my hair so much and I love it. Your hair turned out beautiful and I bet your next color will be too. It looks healthy and you are giving it nutrients while having a new style you have NOTHING TO LOSE!.blessings
Green Suga hair is one of my goals. Your green hair looks nice and probably with some purple/blue shampoo you'll get to the tone you want. I'll try to do Suga's green after the pink and lavender 😊😊

if you're worried about the vibrant colors washing out really fast you can take semi-permanent hair dye brands like manic panic and put it in your conditioner! (don't know if you'll find any that are as nice as the dyes you currently use though lmao) I haven't been a fan for very long but I love the content you put out! Keep it up
I've been dying my hair for 10 years now mostly with semis. I've never used the brand overtone but most brands recommend you leave it in for 30 mins or longer to stain your hair. The color won't last if you wash it out in 10 mins.
The footage is always distorted, especially when raw due to the fact that cameras have not yet reached the complexity of the human eye. I think they made one in the states but the whole camera itself was as big as a stadium or something just to get it as complex as a human eye XD

There is! I had a darker green for a long time and took all of it off with a bleach bath and the opposite color. It turned to a nice silver 🤗

Mix blue and green dye together in a bowl then apply them to hair. 2 parts green 1 part blue is good for mint (turquoise) and 2 blue 1 green for aqua.
