- Since there is a spliced part in chapter 6 due to the recording problem, someone left few comments down below to question the whole run because of that and saying negative things. So as the required from Burning Leaf himself, I've changed this title into a stricter statement. Please no more argument, just enjoy the video, enjoy the game.
Here's some words from Burning leaf;
This was my first no damage run of NGB, back then I just started to play this game not for long, so I didn't have any idea, any concept of the common rules of video recording, lack of experience. And I never take this run as a challenge or a some kind of record, and in fact, it really is not. So it's okay if you think this run is invalid, or unrecognized or something, that's why I changed the title into “Conceptual” based on this.
But anyway, I already did a new run of no ninpo no damage recently according to the common rules, please feel free to check it out anytime with any ways;

At 31:45 and 31:50 you can see the karma points doesn't match, because the player made edits in there, he lost the recorded file at that time due to his capture card's problem, so he just re-did that part, that's why he turned the karma on for showing this part is spliced. You can say this one is a spliced video, but there's no much difference in my eyes since this is not a NO SAVE RUN, any failed part can be redo back to the save statue until it has been done successfully, this is how a no damage run been made of. So it's up to you to decide whether it counts or not. In my opinion, no difference at all.
its ok to edit at save points, but its not ok to edit and splice parts in a section u HAVE to do in one go, and he clearly spliced multiple times during the red/blue room and hydracubus section, so this is an invalid run no matter how u put it... so its not about if we FEEL like its invalid, it IS invalid by definition... this is the most difficult part of the game to do no damage no ninpo. so splices here are even more pathetic...

No other game gets the connection of your weapon with an enemy so right. The sound is so satisfying and the enemy animations as every hit of a weapon hits home is so perfect. Combine that with Ryu's moves and this game will never go out of style. It's like a classic album.
This was the first difficult game I ever beat, Alma used to be my bane and you made her look so easy.
And you are her batman 😂
I honestly thought this was an impossible thing to do.

you can do it every time when you hit them with the ->Y once, then, when they stumble backwards, go for the ->Y again and they will go up with you
killing those zombie skeletons was one of the most satisfying parts of the game for me.
I've never knew these kind of enemies were in the game. Pretty cool

Still to this day one of my favorite games ever. I still want a new Itagaki Ninja Gaiden. Koei Tecmo/Team Ninja seem to be doing good with Nioh though, so I doubt we'll see a new Ninja Gaiden for the time being. We didn't know how good we had it in the 2000s (if you're a stylish action genre fan).

10:08. Haha. Nice to see that even top level players still make elementary mistakes. He definitely wanted to direct that >X launcher the other way to hit that enemy. Anyway, thanks for sharing this with us. On a small note, I'm glad someone else actually likes Ryu's purple outfit. I've always liked it better than his default Legendary Black Falcon outfit. It looks comfier and has a more timeless look to it, being not 1980s leather and all.

BTW, the purple one is my favorite outfit in this game

I'm pretty curious why you guys always focus on these boring points but not the gameplay itself. Even this is a spliced part (and I'm pretty sure it is not, because I know him well), so what, is that important in such a non-battle spot?

月光TKMO i see, well if it is real it’s very impressive anyway
This guy is great but the only flaw I see is during the ultimate techniques with the sword and flail, he doesn't change the direction of the attack to hit other enemies behind or the sides, he just hits one
Lockon Stratos Was thinking the same thing. Seems like fights could go quicker by dealing a bit of damage and grounding the next enemy. Not that such a thing is the point of his run. Downing the next enemy greatly reduces your odds of getting nicked though.
Reducing group size with serial focused attacks reduces risk, especially over hours of playing. I wouldn’t call it a flaw.
I’m pretty sure Alma was Player 1. This shit is crazy!

Sorry not falling for this! It's to fucking random! A master ninja at the game can clearly see what he or she is doing! But you mean throughout the entire game no mistakes by the player or the computer? I was playing the game kicking the hydro fiends ass killed him with ut perfect! One of the minions was coming down at the moment he died and while I am frozen to end the fight I got hit before the thing went away! Random shit! The game is full of it!I'm not saying impossible just highly unlikely! If it's legit hats off!Very impressive 👏!
