Top is the most stressful role as well. I despise the constant cancer of wave management and getting the wave frozen after getting ganked. I swapped to mid because it’s so much more relaxing. Went from Silver 1 to Plat 4 after I made the switch.
Might be making the switch soon I've been one tricking morde and stomping some games in silver tho. Like %70 percent winrate
Problem with support is: gamechanging abilities that doesnt need to scale. You died 8 times as leona? You will still tank and cripple the carry for 5 seconds. Feeder blitz/naut/thresh will still hook you from safety and lock you down, lulu will still give at least 1k worth of shield+health worth on abilities and point click cc you. Picked the untargetable cat that can win trades because you can use exhaust ignite but your adc fed and you lost lane? Just stick on any fed ally and you get a free full item worth of ap to heal them while steroiding them. Summing it up, to play sup you only need two things: ward and keep track on who's your current Pimp named Slickback
That's really true. I agree with everything you said. Made me think about what I can improve on when I play support. Especially me, as a person that plays Sona; ward and then suck the dick of the best person. lol I will say though; being there for fights and positioning are really important also. All about how much gold value you are providing or denying at the end of the day
It's all true, but imagine how unfun support would be if you were just completely useless and fully reliant on the carries...

Yup everytime I get a mid main autofilled support unless he first times something like pyke he's 2 times better than 99% of support mains.
I switched from Aatrox top to Xerath supp recently. Yes, I dropped a couple of divisons but these were the most enjoyable days of league for me for past 3 years so far.

this shit is true btw, you learn and understand how important supports are in teamfights and how pretty much every role ha besides support has ego problems
@@wakeno143 that's because support players know they're on the easiest role and have little room to talk when it comes to who's good. doublelift basically explained it. Most supps don't care about improving it's just a fun freelo role.
I went up a tier by switching from AD to sup. But Ad is more fun so I had to buy a new account :(

@@daskiolol188 I don't understant that statement, I was hardstuck silver as a support despite knowing about all the macros, even when I played like a god with Thresh I would lose because I simply did not do damage and the damage dealers in my team were trash.I became a Top main with Cho Gath and Nasus then got a 17 wins streak, if I remember well I lost my streak when I was forced to Jungle due to some bastard.
When I play top I always play late game champs. I just grind cs and never think about my opponent. Many times I've gone 0/8 by 20 mins but i keep killing minions and when my top laner gets bored and leaves I start hard pushing towers.
last 2 or 3 seasons i have been playing jungle mainly because is easier to climb in it, but in the heart top is my favorite lane and is my strongest too.
but is just so hard to carry from it, it feels like you have no control over the game, you can stomp hard but if your champ is not a hyper carry you will not save your team that is 2 towers down, lost a dragon and has the enemy ADC feed.
the only way to win as top lanner is to stomp so hard your enemy that his will is completly broken and he is useless.
just winning lane is not enought and then there is the enemy jungler that can decide if you will have fun or hide under your tower the whole game.
when people like dirtymobs says Fuck it, im done top lane, gonna support... you just know its true.

I play mid but I sometimes get autofilled to sup. I had like 80 games with like %56 wr on mid, ar sup I have around 16 games with %80 wr

I would have to disagree with them but only in terms of clarification. I still think mid has the highest overall average game impact, followed by jungle. However the effort/skill to impact ratio of support is completely off the bloody charts. Doublelift said if you want to rank up while not having to improve at the get very much, play support, which is true due to the counter play required to match a support roam in low elo. If the enemy support is coming mid, you have barely any options. The fact that the roam is happening at all probably means that your support is dead, so they can't match the roam. The jungler would have to have either ganked during the fight that the support died to prevent it or have enough map awareness to come mid before the support engages. If neither of these things happen you options as a mid are to die, back off and lose wave manipulation, get dove and then lose like 2 plates, or just straight up recall because you can't play the game.

You're totally wrong. I can log onto my gold account and play a totally normal game of alistar and win 80% of the time. Literally just combo people and roam mid when you have a timer. Even in pisslow.

I don't really see how that logic holds up though, because if the assumption is that you can't make plays happen in pisslow because players are bad, there's a correlation that the enemy team is just as likely to be just as bad, and will be constantly mispositioning and making it easier for you to make plays, and easier for your potentially bad team to punish them.
I think ad is worst because I have to deal with another player and if they suck ass, give up, or troll pick it’s cancer and your stuck in that lane losing it even though u know you’re a better ad player
But you scale better, usually get more help from the jungler and are on dragon side so always have more chances to participate in the game and win if you play it right.
They're looking at it from the aspect of hitting challenger & adcs put up with a lot of shit, but when they carry they can carry hard. There's so many ways to shut down a top laner from carrying & if you don't know wave management you can lose the lane for yourself or if you need help managing a stuck wave & jng doesn't come help. Having range is honestly so underappreciated, when adc decide to face tank it blows my mind like my top laners wish they had more safe range.

As a kayle player I feel perplexed.
NA does not have good supports and the role of support on the NA servers is nothing like here in China. it's such an autofilled role in NA that i can see why people treat the role as copium for why they can not climb as a carry or jungle.
If you pick support 2nd mid 1st, wouldn't you just get support every single game?

but mid gets roam by jg and supp more, even with adc at times
mid lanners are usually ranged champs add to it that their distance to their tower is the smallest of all, if the lane isnt push you are just at a flash of distance from your turret.
there is also easier to see enemies that are going to gank you.
while in top the jungler can come from lane and hide in the bushes in top or if you are attacking the enemy tower not only you are already in range of the tower you have a huge blind spot that lets the enemy jungler get behind you if you push.
as mid lanner you have multiple routes of escape if the jungler comes from bot you can run towards top if the jungler comes from top you can run towards bot or your turret while as top you only have one route your tower and that route most of the time means colliding with the enemy jungler, also as mid your jungler usually can go and help if you are getting gank while in top most of the time the junglers started in oposite sides of the jungle so when their jungler is top your jungler is bot.
trust me as jungler ganking top is like 5 times easier than any other lane, but the problem is that while is easy to gank, top is not as important as bot, if the lane was as important as bot i would never leave top.
and as a top getting countered hurts way more than any other lane, getting gank 1 or 2 times means the lane is lost and sometimes you cant even farm because it gets freezed.

except for nilah that beats almost every top laner in 1v1 which is stupid to even think about, but yeah besides nilah an adc is gonna get blown up

I'm not good as any of you guys but support is harder in my opinion not to play , playing support is easy sure , but winning as a support? Bruh lol no there's a lot of braindead players out there who'll blame a support because of stuffs they're at fault at yet carrying as an actual support is almost impossible :/ like dude it's either i have to adjust on playing a carry and roam everywhere i see a kill or help an objective
These people who say supporting is fucking easy cant play the role 95% of the time.
Tyler 1 hit challenger in all roles & called it dumb broken, all challengers call support dumb easy. Support has lost so much responsibility, they can just roam to win other lanes & their agency to maintain levels/gold is lower than any other role. If support isn't considered easy than no other role can be easy, the only thing is support isn't a hard carry role so you won't 1v9 ever but sometimes you can carry as a Brand/Senna & act as the carry bot if you get far enough ahead.

@@MegaKorva Tyler1 reached challenger playing only support from a fresh account and it only took him 3-4 weeks. It was the fastest and easiest role.
