  • My friend just got this today and brought it over for cleaning; it's always important to clean a gun from the factory before using it.
    It's a Browning Silver Field in Shadowgrass Blades Camo. The claim to fame about these guns is they'll cycle most loads reliably and are softer shooting. The Browning Silver is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun designed for bird hunting.
    It weighs 7.3 lbs
    I did measure end up measuring the trigger at 6lbs 7oz, which isn't bad for a browning!

    Pretty much the same as a Winchester SX4. And the Maxus but without the bells and whistles.

    Great video! Can hardly believe your friend thinks a Silver is an upgrade from an Auto-5, though

      thanks, his auto 5 is a Belgian light 12; a 2 3/4" only gun. we almost all use 3" shells, so he wanted to as well.

      yep, worked really well with just target loads and 3" hunting.

    I can't seem to find any info on this but can you extend the magazine tube?

      Yes, the company Briley makes them; they might be only available in the US market.
