As you know most victims of injustice are poor filipinos. The real problem in justice system in the country The vital flaw which undermines the utility of much of the judicial system is the problem of virtual impunity that prevails. This, in turn, is built upon the rampant problem of witness vulnerability. Either way, the lack of witnesses and other evidence together with disinterested and primitive investigating mean that few cases ever reach full trial in the courts. The police are the first and biggest obstacle to victims and their families obtaining justice in the Philippines.
Lack of access to justice or equal representation is a form of injustice and discrimination against the poor. Most citizens have the understanding that they have the right to an attorney, and that the poor will be appointed one when they cannot afford it.
So, i say why not welcome icc. it would be a good thing to improve the primitive way of investigating in the Philippines and people will benefit more through it. the Justice system in Philippines is poor, that is why the country is in this mess. it is what it is.

It would be dangerous for the government to issue a policy that clearly operates to subdue the law that ensures justice to all our citizens, not merely the 30-K EJK victims. The policy is quite weired and already violative of the law that provides protection to our people.The matter of the jurisdiction of the ICC is a built-in power of that entity and we acceded to it by a well'-intended ratification of the Treat that created it, due which we stand legally bound to RECOGNIZE, honor and keep in good faith the terms and commitments thereof. It is the DESIRE and WILL of the PEOPLE to have a "buffer protection" for themselves by means of the ICC in case in the course of time another similar brutal and tragic misfortune (like therecent experience) should strike or befall upon them in the future. The ICC is their call, not BBM's. The president cannot just invalidate the jurisdiction "thing" regarding the 'Court' without first consulting the REPRESENTATIVES of the constituents who are surely affected by this unilateral act of BBM, which is clearly against "popular" sentiment. This is already a matter that is outside the policy making prerogatives of the executive office.
Why ICC? We have a Supreme Court and Justice system in the Philippines. If he is really brave to file the case, bring it to the Supreme Court.

The Catholic Church is in a cohort by playing a musical chair. Transferring the priest to another church. I have a proof. I investigate one particular priest.
