I get people were annoyed that Sophia came to the ALDC, and that she may of got some sort of special treatment but she was an incredible dancer and not only that she was easy to work with and was super respectful

The producers wanted a storyline when Maddie then is second fiddle to a new girl after the first few seasons of the other moms claiming favoritism. But it didn't really work out.

Sophia and her mom were very respectful and sweet but sophia was way to good to be dancing at the aldc level she was the best dancer in the country at this time and probably the best ever for her age in america so far
