Camping in the southern Kgalagadi desert - Botswana Overlanding - Episode 1

Exploring the southern Kgalagadi was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I got very lucky with the wildlife encounters! Starting out in a private game reserve in Botswana we enjoyed absolute solitude and had all encounters to ourselves. We were able to capture some amazing photographs and had some close encounters with incredible animals like Lions and Leopards.
In this series I will take you along our overlanding adventure through Botswana. Starting in the southern Kgalagadi, going into Mpayathutlwa Pan, then heading north into the Okavango Delta and staying at the amazing campsites in Maghoto at the Khwai Community Campsite at the border of Moremi and Chobe game reserves. From there we went into Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) onto the tracks of Mark and Delia Owens (Cry of the Kalahari).
