- In todays episode we revisit the PS2 with a strange media loading issue. At this point we've uninstalled the DMS, we've cleaned up the flux, the hot glue and all of the tough as steel foam pads. The PlayStation 2 board is now prepped for the installation of the modbo mod chip.

could be a failing resistor/s, check the big ones around the gs and ee chips

Have you had the chance to revisit this and figure out what might be the problem?
Not yet. I think I may know what the fix is, but I just need to find the time to revisit the console.

Hmmm so the chip is not the problem, mabey a damaged trace somewhere??
Thats also a possibility. I did look over quite a bit, but I did not spend a whole lot of time to check if solder was spilled, caps damaged or traces ruined during the previous installers work.
