For me it was the last conversation between young Eun Tak and her mother's soul. I kept watching that scene for the next 3 days and cried every fucking time!
One of the most beautiful scene in this series was the last scene... It was heartbreaking but the way Eun Tak was able to fully embrace her fate even when she was so scared was just so moving... What's even more beautiful about this scene is the fact that a friend like Grim Reaper was able to share her pain even in the last moment.
I think it's also because she knew there was an afterlife, her boss was the reincarnation of the former Queen of Korea, her bestie was the former King, and her soulmate more or less is immortal. She knew that after everything, she'd meet him again and she chose to remember him so when she did come back -- she could find him where they first spent time together.

Eun Tak's death is more sorrowful because she sacrificed herself to save the children . She is such a good girl. Really admired this character since she was young
I honestly loved their bond it gave me true friends vibe (the friend who you hate at the start but when friendship begins you share your deepest secret with them )❤❤❤❤
I remember that when I saw it I cried nonstop during her mom's death, the Goblin's death, her death and her last conversation with Goblin and my mother was worried something was wrong, but it was just the dang drama making me emotional.
I guess ET is the most difficult & painful job for GR.......his tears & sorrow & pain shown in his eyes 😢 And in the bts of the cake scene......ET wrongly said that she wanna go for movie wt GR i/o KS, hahaa!!
Out of all the Korean drama/series I've watched, this is the one that made me both laugh and cry so hard so many times. The humor both dry and slapstick. The love, so heart warming and heartbreaking. Although it's a fantasy genre, it has so many life lessons. Epic.
Just hearing ji eun tak from grim reapers mouth makes me cry... no other scene can be this heartwrenching... i always try my best not to come across this scene..
