Today’s society has moved away from religious systems of value and is quickly accelerating towards dangerous ideologies. It is not a coincidence that America has been in a decline and that we’re the least Christian we’ve ever been.
Nothing to do with religion all to do with politics, this is coming from a Christian before you say anything, but politics now are extremely divisive, and they’ve been like that for a while, I’d be taking the piss if I said it’s the most divisive now, but the internet has created echo chambers that allows for extremists to spread their ideologies to young impressionable kids who then believe that’s the only way and the refuse to leave it, the way to fix this is by leaving your echo chamber, right or left I urge you to genuinely listen to the opposition and understand their arguments. Not only will it help you see them as human, but also it will help you counter their arguments if you don’t want to do it for purely altruistic reasons

I’m guessing you’re young, but brother that is not a man. Former US Army here, I know men that killed themselves when they had friends and family who cared for them. They didn’t fear death and now they’ve left their loved ones, and I miss them dearly. Personally I feared death everyday I was deployed but I wasn’t worried about dying, I was worried about leaving behind my loved ones. You don’t sound hard saying you don’t fear death, you sound like you don’t have anything to live for which is sad, I pray you do better if you genuinely have nothing brother.

Now I’m out because I’m old but point is, I did something I wasn’t ready for and it was difficult, I’m not saying join the military, I’m saying find something hard that you enjoy and keep trying until you succeed
