I found a Chunkey disk in my back yard last year and today I found a stone Game Ball.
I live in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee. Very near the Cherokee National Forest.

Are there any modern or historical examples of people decorating their the throwing spears they used for this game, or are they kept plain and unadorned?

I saw in another video that the opposing team could also throw spears to try to alter the stones path. Is that true?
