Making my old drill press variable speed with a VFD

I turned a 3 phase drill press that picked up off of Craigslist to variable speed using a vfd to power it and programming it with an adjustable frequency option.
It actually was pretty simple and and could be done by anyone who is not afraid to wire a few things together and plug it in.

I have similar drill press. But my drill press spindle has about 30/1000 run out. Can you guy my how to fix it?

VFD... ummmm 🤔, I think I need to get one for myself.

VFD’s are pretty sweet - but you will need a 3 phase motor as well.

They can be tricky to find, it's not like people just have them lying around the shop
