@@union310 No i havnt. But I know that locomotives shouldnt sound like jack hammers. somethings either loose a little bit or the valve timing is slightly retarded and needs tweaking to cushion the end of the stroke.
@@NathanielKempson I personally wouldn't comment if I hadn't done it myself. That said I do build engines and for all you know be could be going to rebuild it .
@@union310 I worked at a few steam railways a few years ago, and have had an intrest in steam my whole life. I may not have a degree in anything, but that dosnt mean im stupid and dont know stuff.
I know where this engine is now and after a winter in the workshop, it runs like a sewing machine.
Sounds like a midland engine. More clangs and clanks that a bucket of nails

@@yeo5811 It was a well known fact that midland locos clanked a bit back in steam days. In short. It was a fucking joke.
