when I bought my bmw f30 it was also lowered, I was tired that i had to be really careful all the time on the road and had a fear from every pothole so I replaced the lowering kit with the stock suspension kit , much better experience
"let me move it over a little" - moves it onto neighbors driveway
HAHAHA. yeah... Luckily we get along. :)
It would be interesting if you told us how much clearance you have at the front lip.
You had me screaming at the screen: 'No, go left. The OTHER left!'. Haha. My driveway is also on an incline but it's not as steep. But, like you I have to mindful of the approach angle. Ahh... the hardships that we Shelby owners must endure....
HAHA, I can picture someone yelling that! Shelby hardships, I like that phrase. :)

@@atguilmette HAHAHA! Welcome!
We have a "driveway" at work for a sidewalk you need to drive over that is about a palm's width in height, that is basically a 45 degree slope made in the place of the removed decorative/protective bricks on the side of said sidewalk. Basically if you wanted to form a a slope to the sidewalk with your palm's length, same angle and length.
I'm very worried about the suspension just giving up one day as you need quite a bit of speed if you don't want the car to stall...
Love the video. My driveway is way more steep, and untill I installed my 3p airlift suspension I had to take it at a angle every day and could not get lowering springs. Love the content, still sad ya moved.
I sorta looked into airlift briefly. It just didn’t make sense for me but it would have been nice to get it from the factory like the corvette.
Where did you get your extended slide wickers? They look like the ones on the Shelby GT500 and I've been wanted to put those on my GT350R.
Archetype Racing! They are slightly bigger than the GT500s, plus they are carbon fiber!
@@TheAllAmericanDriver Thanks so much!!
I had the same issue with my 350R my driveway is way steeper then yours i went the cheaper route 4 2x4s 2 1x6 planks of wood clears it just fine no scrapes.
Too bad these cars couldn't be optioned with front end lift.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU .... My drive way has a big roller on the edge ... those things look like they were made for it
So pumped that you got something out of this video!
Are those designed to be bolted t the concrete? That might be a perfect solution.
Yes they can be permanently mounted!
Too much of a pain in the ass. Just pay the money to level out the easement and be done with it.
Yeah I 'll get a quote from a concrete company and pull the trigger if it's not stupid expensive.
Hydraulic lift for the front perhaps? That way, you take your "ramp" with you.
Griot's Garage sells a long piece that helps with that kinda issue as well...👍🏽🏁
Yeah after looking briefly online there are a lot of options out there!
I can’t even get a stock height civic out of my driveway and I’m planning on getting an frs and lowering it🙃
Hahahahaha! I like where your priorities are.
Love the cat 😸 meow
Meow
Are you supposed to carry that thing and stop at every bump w it? 🤔
Yeah I just keep it in the trunk and take it everywhere I go. :)
I would just remove the splitter for the street. I have a splitter from AJ Hartman that is much longer and bigger than yours and it isn't worth using on the street. I do have some pucks on it that protect the carbon splitter from scraping
I've seen some of AJ's wind tunnel videos, really cool stuff. I could pull the splitter off... but a wise man once said to me..."Looking cool is half of going fast"...
Of course the guy in the mustang leaves his car on the sidewalk
Hahaha. Better than into a crowd of people I suppose.
That’s crazy , how low is the car ? 🔥
Honestly it’s on stock springs/suspension
What you need are Kerb Plates from Barrier group.
I'll have to check those out.
Me thinking why not just back out the driveway more clearence in the back then when you get near front cut the wheel one way
Clearly so I can park it facing out in my garage! It’s better to look at that way. 😆
My driveway so bad it could still scratch if i back out too quickly with 6 inches of ground clearance
ouch
i have a worst driveway and i can imagine the stress of a car like this, i was so stress when i scrape my 1week old Toyola Corolla🤦♂️🤣
Poor Corolla! Your driveway must be a canyon.
@@TheAllAmericanDriveris it expensive to fix under bumper scrape?
New honda civic 2 wks old just happened today 😡
@@kayluv1846 same here jus got the srt8 happened this morning smh
I bought a Honda Civic Hatchback two weeks ago. It’s lower than I thought. Second day I owned it, I pulled into a driveway, then backed down and my front underside scraped over a piece of cement sticking up in the driveway. I hadn’t seen it and a small plastic bolt came out from undercarriage and a couple one inch scrapes to white paint, luckily under the bumper outer lip so you can’t see it. Was (am still) bumming (new car!). Prior, I had a 97 hatchback which was a bit higher (my preference).
#success! Really liked that into. I'm glad you were able to figure it out, it would have been hard doing track videos from inside your garage wearing a helmet making track racing noises.
Hmmm...A track video from inside my garage... I might accept this challenge if I get bored enough. :)
@@TheAllAmericanDriver with a little Pixar CGI thrown in we won’t even be able to tell the difference 😁
Get a different splitter or some airbags
I did look into front end lifts for the Mustang like you see on higher end sports cars and exotics but didn't really see anything.
They could at least make these ramps the width of a car !
This is such a good idea.
Your splitter is like cars with oversized wheels…
Except for legit aero makes a positive performance increase.
🧐😏
More upgraded more problems.
#truth
Two pieces of 2x4s
You have a million dollar business idea right there!
@@TheAllAmericanDriver I try my friend 😂
Can you really enjoy your car? You can’t even get it in and out your own driveway
Ha! Yeah it is a bit annoying.
Im gonna park on street just happened to my new car today leaving staples. Pissed
Remind me when I put big wheels on my trans am and couldn’t really turn that well
so you're just going to have to keep driving into the sidewalk? thats really stupid.
imaging being an adult and not knowing how to drive a lowered car...
You can spend money on your car but won’t pay to put in a better driveway 😂😂😂
This is absolutely a failure of my prioritization skills.
Redoing the driveway would cost 1/4th of the car . Come on now
This is not a steep driveway, clickbait...
Your driveway must be really bad!
@@TheAllAmericanDriver it's honestly a nightmare 😭
@@mrgodplays4720 LOL sorry about that!
buy a toyota land cruiser 🙄
Yes that would solve this problem.
My driveway is worse!!
Really? How do you get in and out?
@@TheAllAmericanDriver Well my car is a non R so it’s a tad higher, and I don’t have the same front splitter as you. I can clear with my stock 35 sidewall tires, but I throw on cup 2’s for track days and they are 30 sidewall. I have to air them up a bit more to not scrape. The struggle is real!
You’re driveway is level compare to mine 🥲
Hahahaha.
7:03 The dog went WTF. 🫢😆😂🤣👍🏾🔥💯
