If churches can override scripture in allowing women preachers and pastors, why would anyone think that their reason for church membership is even biblical? If churches can’t judge in the obvious , how could they judge on the less obvious… that makes no sense
Baptism and membership is important but the title of this sermon is a bit misleading or JP is overly focused as if it is to be about the fundamentals of church membership he should have stuck with the fundamentals.
This is very sound and correct doctrine on being planted to a Church.. Amen.
John Piper makes a good point about baptism in that the only Christian mentioned in the Bible who wasn't baptized was the thief on the cross.
