    These look really cool! I wish they just ditched the scroll bar and made the screen bigger. This screen on the case thing is going to be the next thing that every company starts doing I guarantee it!

    You can make your own set of these for cheap by glueing the case of a set of tws earphones to the back of your phone. Ok it won't look as polished but you'll have a better screen and potentially much better earphones.

      sounds dumb as hell on that one its more than just a screen lmfao literally no other case has even 95 percent of what the case has and the phone doesn't come with chapt gpt or language translation. Sure download the app just means you'll take longer to pull the app up on your phone lol

    JBL started this trend now we're going to see where it goes. Have you heard of the Creative Aurora Ace earbuds? They use a hybrid driver system a regular 11mm for bass and two solid state with silicone flaps for mids and highs. Those new drivers are tiny. Thanks for the review. 💯👍🇺🇸

      had mines for over a month and they def are comfortable an stay in for my runs and walking around. Sound great, better then beats fit pro and my one plus buds. Transparency mode though isn't good with wind around you and it doesn't do a good job with to much noise around it wont allow you to hear the convo as easily as the beats fit or apple but its better all around compared to apple an my others listed. They also get loud but good loud, you'll never have to turn it all the way up ever lol

    Id ratger earbuds that last for 8-10 hours witgout charging. Sick of 3-4 hours. Size doesn't matter

    • @GhostAcez
      @GhostAcez Před 7 měsíci

      Yeah 3-4 hours is sad when even some budget earbuds have been breaking the 10+ hour mark on a single charge lately. Like the Tozo NC7 earbuds, they are tiny and are apparently rated at 18 hours on a single charge, 72 hours with the case.

    Sounds interesting, certainly novel. I'd like a phone that small (though thinner).
    Apart from battery life which you mentioned, a couple of questions that spring to mind are:
    1) does it have NFC
    2) does it have a 3.5mm headphone socket?
    3) can it support apple music, tidal...
    4) does it have onboard storage eg for podcasts, audio books, flac files...
    5) what's the track record with updates, or period for commited updates?
    For the innovation they deserve to be applauded. I love the idea.

    • @GhostAcez
      @GhostAcez Před 7 měsíci +2

      Unihertz makes tiny android phones around about this size, maybe a little bigger. Definitely do your research though before buying one because it may not be supported in your area and I've heard of them having issues. I haven't personally had any experience with them myself, though.
      Honestly though the best "small" phone that supports everything most people use these days is the IPhone SE 3rd gen. Sure, it's not super tiny, but it's fairly small for a phone these days.

    • @AndrewUKLondon
      @AndrewUKLondon Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@GhostAcez thanks for the suggestion.
      I'd looked closely at the Jelly Star. It looks great . However, I was put off by their track record on updates.
      I've been using Android devices since the HTC magic , including the tiny Sony Xperia Ray at 99g which slipped into a shirt pocket. Something that thin would be great.
      I've also been using an iPhone since the iPhone 4s. I had an iPhone mini 12 which was great. But I also wanted a larger screen.
      My main phone atm is a 6.8" lg v60 with quad dac, 3.5mm headphone socket, SD card slot, removable second screen...
      I use it alongside an Apple watch That's almost the perfect combination for me. However, my watch doesn't have a SIM card. After my iPhone watch 6 and LG v60 stop working or stop getting OS and security updates I'll reconsider (ideally an 11 day watch and a largish long lasting phone -iphone or Fairfone.

    • @AndrewUKLondon
      @AndrewUKLondon Před 7 měsíci

      @Azu10157 the whole point is that that these aren't just a pair of earbuds. A bit of imagination is all that's needed to take this a step further rather than just another set of earbuds. If I wanted just a set of ear buds I'd stick with what I have.

  • @glsracer

    The lack of any high res audio options kills this for me. If I was still traveling a bunch for work then this would make sense even with the lack of high res Codec support because the translation features would be really helpful.

      @@gamblingmonster1787 phones can play music already and yet you still use earbuds right? Phones can also use internet but you use your laptop right? Thats excuse makes no sense lol. Price I agree with but its like 269 so its far cheaper but regardless you dont have to use it as a phone replacement the sim card is so you can listed to music or use translation or chatgpt with it and you can connect to other stuff so if your phone does die its a good back up.

    At first glance, this product does indeed look really interesting, but from my experience, 2-3-in-1 products are never really good in the 2-3 aspects they try to cover.
    It's just average earbuds (which must actually be worth at most $40-50 and aren't really better than the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC or Earfun Air Pro 3/S, Tozo Nc7 2022 sold for $50-$70), coupled with some semblance of a smartphone.
    Buy $60 Soundcore Liberty 4 NC / Earfun Air S / Tozo Nc7 2022, $100 Galaxy S10e or LG G8 + $100-$150 smartwatch, you'll be better served by this $250-$300 combo than this $400 stuff.
    🙏🏽
