    Being in Australia I tried to buy these fittings in a couple of major hardware store outlets, Bunnings and Total Tools just to name a few. None of them had the M10 fitting that fits the Ryobi wand, which of course you then add the Quick connect fitting too.
    So after following your links I ordered these two parts off Amazon and with the difference between the Australian and American dollar, not to mention delivery fees the two connectors ended up costing me around $55 Australian!
    Still glad I did it as it's totally transformed the usability of my Ryobi Easy Clean and I can now use my foam cannon anywhere I have water.
    Thanks again for the vid and tips...
    PS, The one thing I would add though for anyone contemplating doing this is to heat up the wand to melt the red Loctite that holds the Ryobi Quick connect on the nozzle end.
    Cheers 😜👌🇦🇺

    You are the only person I've seen do this. NICE work. I honestly didn't even bother trying to figure it out and just lived with the terrible ryobi foam cannon....

    Great hack figuring out you can unscrew the plastic pieces to expose m10 threads on the rod . I just picked up the 18v 600psi kit with accessories for $135. Came with a battery and a bunch of accessories like the 0/25/40 degree tips and some other accessories. Now I'm wondering if I just get the tool $100, do this hack, and buy the foam canon and tips you have listed.

      It’s more universal so if you ever get a electric or gas pressure washer you can use the same accessories. And to be honest most of the ryobi accessories aren’t that great

    Did you have to heat up the stem to break the red loctite as it seems like a really strong bond? 🤔

    • @DuhRaceCar
      @DuhRaceCar  Před 2 měsíci +2

      I did not heat it up but you could. It definitely was tight. The vice grips even marred up the stem a little.

    Luckily mine was easy to unscrew without pliers, so the metal wand is not damaged from pliers.

    The link you posted for the M10 adapter seems incorrect. It links to a 1/4 to M12

      Did you use vice grips? It was a little tough to break the loctite.

    Can you still use the EZ Connect tools after you mod the extension rod for the quick connects?

    • @tonytam4767
      @tonytam4767 Před 25 dny +1

      No once modded that rod will no longer work. If you buy an extension and keep the original unmodded that will still work.

    • @seanbarber3209
      @seanbarber3209 Před 25 dny

      @@tonytam4767 ah so you would have one extension for each. Does Home Depot sell just a replacement extension? Thanks for the insight!

    • @tonytam4767
      @tonytam4767 Před 25 dny +1

      Or you could revert back by screwing that unscrewing mod, but that sounds like a hassle. The link to extension wand is in the video description. I haven’t personally verified it works but based off the pictures it should.

      All the other Ryobi pressure washers come with quick connect adapters. This is an exception. I did purchase their inferior foam cannon made for the clean which led me to do this so I can use their other quick connect adapters.

    • @scottmcbride2237
      @scottmcbride2237 Před 3 měsíci +2

      Lol. It's so you can have more options on foam cannons and nozzles that's what I did and it actually makes it alot nicer and I can also achieve more psi with a different Nozzle. Awsome mod.

    • @Kevin-sg5xc
      @Kevin-sg5xc Před 3 měsíci

      because Ryobi's foam cannon blows (not in a good way).

    • @MBV180
      @MBV180 Před 2 měsíci +1

      Because ez clean attachments suck ass. If you’re already buying the ez clean for 100+ bucks, why spend 35 bucks on a “foam” cannon they didn’t even design and slap their own quick connect system that only works on the ez clean. lol….
