Kunafa is made from Kataifi which is shredded phyllo dough. This shredded dough is spread onto a pan and stuffed with either cheese or ashta (thickened cream), baked, then drizzled with simple syrup and garnished with pistachios.
Ingredients :
Kunafa:
400gm Kunafa dough (kataif)
200gm cheese ( cheddar cheese)
4 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoon milk powder
1/2 cup butter room temperature
4 tablespoon cornflour
4 cup milk
Sheera :
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Drops of lemon
Garnish it with Sheera and pista
