      @1nisaro Před 3 lety +6

      Just in terms of the roles in the conversation, maybe I used the wrong phrase. I feel like TIM holds all the cards for the whole game, including several of the other endings. He occupies the dominant role in every exchange with Shepard. TIM always has a backup plan, a contingency, more information that Shep doesn't. Here, I feel Shep is finally on even footing with TIM: no more secrets or hidden agendas, no more uncertainty about who is pulling what string. They even make a very real, very enforceable threat to TIM, and refusing to bargain or hedge on that threat's terms was a nice power move. I found it to be a very satisfying reversal of their usual roles, and thus a good way to cap off the game.

    Considering the line of games you prefer, I believe you would enjoy Divinity Original Sin2. Give it a shot if you have the chance.

    Am I the only one who feels like ME2's script wasn't written to accommodate you agreeing with The Illusive Man at all? The dialogue feels rich when you're distrustful of him, but giving him the benefit of the doubt produces awkward exchanges like this one.

      it doesn't sadly. it's a waste of potential unfortunately for the third game.

      Dang, this is my first time playing Mass Effect. Loving it. Just beat 2. That would have been awesome potential. As long as Cerberus doesn't get it.

    Believe it or not, I finish MS2 with default armor in difficulty veterans because high-level armor looks dog shit.

    Politics is getting worse. So i came here to watch the best Commander Shepard. To bad know matter the choice you make at thr end of 2. ME 3 is the same start. Cerburus still gets the tech no matter what.
