These kinds of movement techniques are why I've been playing Octane since his release. The stim is one of the best abilities in the game since it allows quicker and more unpredictable movement than anything else.
You should try 4 3 linear in alc. and set the response curve to 3 instead of 0. 0 would be linear, and 10 would be classic, but a low response curve of 3 gives you slightly slower fine movements but still feels like linear. I also increased the 1x,2x, and 3x optics to 1.4 and the 4x/8x to 1.6 and 10x to 1.8, I was playing on 5 5 classic before thats why I turned them up higher but if your used to low sens you don't have to

Then try ALC in that case. Disclaimer: There is no sensitivity which will be goated for both short and long rage at the same time. You can find a sweet spot but in majority of cases you need to decide which one is your priority either short or long rage. I believe most of us prefer short range. If your long range shots feel too weird then just tweak your deadzone in ALC a bit up until your aim no longer moves. If still feels too loose then increase your response curve in ALC. Linear represents 0 response curve while 10 represents classic. Why dont you try setting it up at 5? something in the middle between linear and classic. Maybe that is your sweet spot.

Alright, here's the deal, I've been hiding movement tech for years,I'll give yall the details it works best with tall legends, while strafing stop, tap crouch and start moving again,I call it crouch dropping,or c dropping, it will dip your character down while keeping strafe momentum, enjoy legends 😊.
🤨 gotta test this out sounds crazy never seen before for such basic input too its crazy if this was never discovered during titanfall. Bf4 had a similar mechanic to this which was insanely broken
@@gial27 I'll probably release the rest of the movement tech,some of it's unfair I just need someone to feature me in a video so i could educate them some of it,the c drop tech has 3 unique uses and one is super broken in 1v1s,if nobody gets my attention I'll probably just release my own video in about a few months,I just need to abuse the tech a little longer before I hand it out to the rest of the community.

I still gotta stick to the core movement like this, however, the instant-slide tip is really useful for ras strafing b-hopping when using Octane.
