You're trippin. All of these OBS with low mileage are up to 40 or 50 grand and they'll run way better than the new ones for a much longer life.
The price of new trucks have brought up the value of used trucks considerably. This truck on the auction block would probably go for close to 25k in the right setting

The price is actually reasonable considering. I’ve seen several go in the 20’s that were not as nice as this one. When new trucks can hit the $100K mark, I would pay for a super clean classic 7.3!

Hell ya i will pay $29 for this..better than paying $78 for the pos ones they make now. My husband has one just like this, but fire engine red, and its prestine as well I want this sexy beast!
Paying $29k for this is just as stupid as paying $78k for a new one. You can get a brand new Cummins 3500 crew cab 4x4 for $45k. And that comes with a warranty. You could easily be another $15k in this truck trying to fix someone else's problems and chasing down Gremlins. You know this truck isn't stock and I highly doubt it's ready to 85k miles without seeing a mechanic

Tyler Thorne I’ve seen an all original 97’ F-350 crew cab long bed completely cherry with 13k original miles sell for 31k. 2K off of dealership price back in 97’. The truck was worth every single penny.

170,000 may not be much for a diesel yet Motors don't usually go anyway. But really what about everything else that does goes? Like the transmission, brakes, bearings the same as a gas one. Also vehicles are depreciating assets it not something u invest in. On that aspect it's a $10,000 truck. But with demand for obs truck you might get quite a bit more.
