I have a Ciaz 2017 Zdi+ Diesel
Currently clocked over 170k kms
I truly miss the diesel option in the ciaz now
Till now I haven't faced any issue apart for the alternator replacement which cost me around 38k bcz its a hybrid version.
I get mileage around 20kmpl in the city and at Highways cruising at 100km/hr with A.C on i get 23-24kmpl easily.
If i drive 120kmph than i get around 21-22kmpl.
So pretty much satisfied with overall performance of my car
One thing to point out is the interior build quality is not good after 4 yrs of driv8ng the rattling noise was quite prominent from everywhere. But it can be fixed by damping
Major parts which i had to replaced or get serviced is
Clutch and suspension work at 120k kms
Timing chain at 150k kms
And Alternator at 110k kms
Got an issue with radiator fan which was broken on mid highway around 100k kms so i got it replaced
my engine overheated abit but luckily i got my car home with caution had to stop the car 2 times to cool the engine down.
But it could be an isolated issue i faced
No damage to engine as such. It was a stand alone incident which troubled me in mid highway.
Rest everything is fine
I suggest to get your car serviced around 9k to run everything smoothly
And get your coolant flushed and egr/manifold cleaning at around 30k-35k kms.
Keep these little things in mind and run your car for 250k kms without any issues. 😊👌
Where did u get alternator replacement from, mine also not working. Machnic says cost would be 45k.

The guy ordered it from an agent
MRP was around 41k
But I got a discount
You can buy from Delhi or from any big city in a day
If you live in district or a small town
Just chck with your known local workshop [A.c Electric repair ones] they will arrange the alternator for you
From a nearby town.
Secondly if you live in Delhi
There is a place near Gurgaon
There are people who are expert in Alternator repairing
They will plug out your alternator and will chck it if repairing is possible
Even the critical parts of the alternator can be repaired
I got to know about them late .
But you can try this option as well
One more thing bro
Just get your checked if there is an oil leakage right above the alternator
I got mine faulty bcz of that
Turns out maruti parts are not frugal after 7 or 8 years and their oil pipes get hardened over time leading them to crack and spill oil .
So even if you get a new alternator and if there is a leakage than your alternator will get filled up with oil in few months and it will get damaged again. So make sure to get your car thoroughly checked before fitting a new one.

@@cricketwithAshu_j I Got my Alternator replaced from Local workshop not any Maruti Agency as such.
If you have a known local Workshop [ Car A.c nd Electricals type], they can arrange Alternator from other cities as well.
Make sure to check your car if their is any oil leakage right above the Alternator

Please clarify whether you feel need of 5 speed automatic in this car....and yes, not sure how you are getting this mileage in city.
No, I am very satisfied with 4 box and mileage depends how you drive. I usually keep the RPM below 2000 so it does give me decent mileage too.
Maruti suzuki must need to update this car. Reverse parking camera,front parking sensors, irvm, seats atleast those sections should be looked into.

Totally depends on your requirements.
Now a days you get so many options like Virtus, Slavia, Verna but still if you really like Ciaz then you can go for it because it is a good car 🙌🏻
