@@interiorartnews4568 i believe i misspoke but later corrected. Only did what the champion spec were right out of the owner manual. Still runs like a champ.
Did another video Champion Control head install. That were all the answers are reveled. HAD TO wait for the control panel to come in. It didn't blow up
Well past 300hr. Us every year for 20 days during hunting camp. My 2 2500-watt inverters get the most use now running the camper with the 15000 btu run them joint together.
Şorry -brother but you failed to find TDC,, you don't set the valve s with either valve open! U find TDC ON COMPRESSION STROKE!! BOTH VALVES 100% CLOSED!

I own 2 of these champion generators how many hours did they have on them before valve adjustments.

When u adjust valves has to be top dead center. That’s just small engine mechanics 101!
This is how Champion instructs to do it so that's how I did. Runs just great choke and pull fires right up runs great.

No it didn't blow up. Spliced the burn wire back. Put on the new control head. Runs like a champ
