I love how serious the Edge is with his craft, he ran off the stage for a moment , something was not to his liking , he then rushed back to bring back that signature iconic Irish chime tone
I remember when this came out as a single, when I was just 18 . My mate Wazza was so into this track that he removed the street signs from our road so our street had no name . Still a goose bump piece of music , love it .
Hi Jeff, great video! Thanks for sharing, just one question: Were you at General admission? I'd like to hear your experience. My husband and I are going on Dec8th :)
I had seats in Section 107 Row 24 and was not in general admission. I love Achtung Baby, so hearing all of the songs from that record live was amazing and the Sphere is a great venue. I'm sure you will have a good time.
@@BAM5636 oh really? i thought i can get a full 360 live concert experience from a compressed CZcams video without spending shit. how could i be so dumb!
Sounded like a string broke because I think you can still hear notes out of tune and he reacted immediately. Though it may have been an issue with the wireless?
Does sound like his gtr went out of tune…. You can hear it just before he pulled the volume….. If a string did break, it possible the bridge pulled the gtr out of tune and he needed to get his back up …???
@@MrBoze-TicoCRThat’s pretty much what happened. I have a similar bridge on one of my guitars, when a string breaks everything gets pulled up a half step due to the loss of tension. Off to grab another, and in the process it sounds like the pickup switch got knocked into the wrong spot and Edge had to stop and fix it briefly during the chorus.
@@corypjones The upper deck starts around Row 20. My seats for the opening night in Row 20 were under the upper deck, but I really didn't feel it impacted my experience. I was in Section 108 Row 28 for show #6 and the upper deck was more noticeable as expected. I would have preferred to be a little closer than Row 28 as the upper deck was more of a nuisance.
I don’t understand why people would record this on their phone. Especially considering everyone else is doing the same thing and half of them will upload it to CZcams for the world to watch.
My favorite part of concerts is going to them just to be forced to watch them through the phone screens of every person in front of me holding the phone up, not just for a few seconds but for the ENTIRE song or an ENTIRE show.
i know right. thats why ive been loving going to dead music. people are more interested in the music than their phones. but i also understand people wanna have the memory forever and to share with others. i know thats why i record sometimes at shows. but i try to hold my phone down in front of my face or as low as i can get without ruining my own shot.

dude a couple rows down is having a religious revival....possible acid trip, coke high....or dude has a Molly connect for an old dude..🤷♂️🤣🤣..something is making him have spasms..😂😂
Geez, they need to get their sh*t together for that show. People deserve better for all the money they probably paid to get in. Change up the dang images and video on the screen during the song. I mean that song is iconic, it came out in the 80’s, show a collage of images and video from iconic moments in the 80’s while the song plays. Create an intro that gets people excited, like a video moving through a dark rainy street and it speeds up as the camera pans into the clouds and across the great divide, then into the videos from the 80’s. That show can be SO MUCH MORE than they’re doing right now. It can be actually inspiring, moving, like a religious experience. Instead they’re basically just four guys that look tiny standing on a circle stage under blindingly bright light. No thanks!
The worst ambiance ever. Only a big screen and phones...This a reflect of the human stupidity. Nobody jumping, no dynamism. In 2001 streets was an explosion of emotions just with a few lights on. This is a serie of concerts for rich people and the half doesnt care about U2.

i was at their first gig. outdoors in our school playground mount temple. 45 years ago. fair play to them still going...i hope larry is doing ok
That’s pretty cool!
That is one of the coolest things I have ever heard. What can you tell us about it?
I believe you are telling the truth partly
Beautiful song Bono 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
When I was 18 I was at the video shoot for the original music video of this song in Los Angeles in the 80's. Love that memory so much.💖🌈🦋
Yeah, they should be showing THAT on the huge screen instead of just one image.
What an experience you had!
That guy at the front did not complain when Apple preloaded iPhones with the u2 album.
a lot of us didn’t 😜
Thank you for sharing. How amazing. What an amazing concert must have this been. I am grateful to see any of it.

He ran off stage to do a line of blow
i think he broke a string and went to replace the guitar
Like every single pro musician?
speed is brutal from Edge and Dallas
Right before he runs off, you can hear something go wrong with his guitar.
Thousands of people in a dome with the most spectacular visuals ever ... looking at their tiny phones ... WTF???
Moment of Surrender was so much unexpected! And I am hearing it exactly when I need to.

The fact that people there are watching it through their phones 🤣😭
It’s demented. Paying like a grand to watch an epic band in an epic venue, in your tiny 5 inch screen.
So hilarious can see why you done the double laughing emoji as it was actually hilarious, in fact I'm still laughing now, wow so funny

Amazing - was at the show oct 18th. Still smiling from the experience ❤❤❤
