A curiosity not mentioned about George Reveling getting the actual paper, handed by MLK himself, with the written speech: when George was reading it after, he realized that most of the oral speech given, including the iconic “I have a dream”, was not written on the paper, it was spontaneous…
Rubinstein mentions Chief Justice John Roberts and notes that he (Robert’s) studied history while at Harvard. As a student of American history you would think that Chief Justice Roberts would be appalled at the antics of justices Thomas and Alito. Apparently he isn’t or he would take some sort of action toward them. History is precedent in every regard and Robert’s is setting a terrible one lately.
Always fun to listen and learn from their passion for our heritage. Thanks guys
God bless David Rubenstein.
Fascinating
