- Two years after "Lady Bird," Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet are back together again for "Little Women"! At a junket for their new film, Saoirse told Access Hollywood that she often fields questions about her two-time co-star. "Whenever any girl asks me about Timmy, I'll start to talk about how great an actor he is, and they're, like, kind of bored," she explained. "And then I just go, 'And, you know, his eyes are amazing!' And they're like, 'Are they?!'" Saoirse and her co-stars also discussed what it was like to work with Meryl Streep, who Laura Dern says is "hysterical" and "amazing" in the role of Aunt March. "Little Women" hits theaters Dec. 25.

@Akka Nfjdj I don't think you've been following them since Lady Bird. You can easily search their names and read the titles on thumbnails. She has always been asked about him. I've only watched one interview where he was asked about her.

Well it's not like that she had to be nominated alongside the likes of Tom Hanks or Leonardo DiCaprio or Joaquin Phoenix!! you get what I mean? You can't compare actresses and actors with each other based on their nominations! They compete in different leagues. It's harder for him to get nomination alongside giants who are harder to compete with compared to Scarlet Johnson or Charlize Theron! Who are good but not extraordinary in acting anyway ofcourse she gets nominated in her league!

The very next line is something along the lines of "but I'm also so lonely". She's voicing the inner struggle between rebel and human- it's actually a relatable scene for ANYONE who has ever challenged any expectation.
I love saoirse and I love Timmy but it makes me angry that saorsie is only really ever asked about Timmy. She’s so inspiring and fantastic it must be so dull to just talk about how ~dreamy~ your friend is all the time

By the same token, Watson is a bigger celebrity, has more fans, done blockbuster movies, has a modeling career, is a well known political activist and her name and accent are not a point of contention.
If the academy, bafta or golden globe juries have any sort of bias it's not going to be in Ronan's favor.

You might be right, but I think much of the attention he's getting comes from his brilliant acting (and attractive characters). It's like with Benedict Cumberbatch, he's not "typically" hot, but his charisma does the work for him. Personally I think Timmy is insanely handsome and attractive, but it's hard to tell in retrospect if it's because of his looks or his personality and talent. I’m not attracted to a lack of confidence in men at all but I think he’s just not arrogant but still thinks highly of himself he just doesn’t like to be boastful in interviews. I find him pretty charming mostly because I love how humble and authentic he is, definitely not just because of his looks since physically he’s not even my type lol. He also wears all these untraditional outfits on red carpets which to me shows you have to have a level of confidence to pull it off and not care what others think.

Saoirse especially, shes been acting since she was like 9 and got an oscar nomination at age 13 and garnered tons of awards and nominations. Timmy also got an oscar nomination and other stuff. My point is, i feel like in the whole film community/awards, Saoirse is more well known than emma. And emma is of course more well known in the hp universe because... shes hermione granger. Anyways, for saoirse especially, she is defintely not just starting her acting career, i think shes been in it longer than emma.
