@@pinkplasticlagthe black goo on horizons outfit is actually some sort of disease that comes from the void. It’s on a Valkyrie one too, and its part of the broken moon quarantine zone. It’s not catalysts goo it just looks similar.

My favorite combination is the red handle theme and cobalt core with that triple blade model I saw in a different video but these also have some charm aswell
Yea but I feel like there’s and upside to it, I feel because they dropped all the katars on launch of new season maybe now we can get the specific heirlooms for legends like before. The way I see it is kinda a win cuz they could’ve made all those recolor katars 360 each like the other events yk?

Brother I’d go for it if I was you. Think about it what else are you gonna use those heirloom shards on? A heirloom or prestige skin that’s locked for one character? Value wise speaking, the katar is a no brainer. If you buy kits it’s cool because you get 3 katar slots to create 3 custom katars how you want them and you can equip any of the 3 to whatever legend you want

Also just because you are guaranteed heirloom shards at some point doesn't mean the katar itself is free, and even the people that do get shards would have to spend those ON the katar instead of any other personalized skin. But yeah the green shards are just priced way too expensively or not common enough like getting 3 sets of 10 per season
To each their own if they actually want to buy this…. But these were all very lackluster and I was trying to keep an open mind as to why someone would want to spend a lot of money on these but I don’t see any appeal. Heirlooms were waaaay better.

Now with season 21 launching, there’s people who are able to use heirloom shards they had in the base katar and they are able to buy the cobalt pack for only $50 and they can buy all the sets for $200 which is obv way cheaper than the $360 it took some to get the cobalt. My point being respawn has shown before they’re willing to bring an item back and make it able to be obtained cheaper than it was before

I swear these universal heirlooms are the ugliest heirlooms out - I don’t own one so I don’t know how they feel to jiggle with in game, but man do they look ass.

You have to obtain all of the artifact variants fully. Even with all the death box. Only then will you get the exclusive purple one
