Easily Tyga... Who else you know dropping trash that consistently
+Y2JKickss kid cudi
Chill fam. Have Mercy on Tyga's poor soul.
Drake
soulja boy.
lmao.
‘Logic has been consistent’.... what a time that was 😭
Metra Boomin lol Fr times have changed
Never liked him but this aged fine. Two shitty albums In one year😂
was a reach eve then
Logic has been up and down he's been constantly lately again
Ghostface killah. And I haven't watched it yet.
+A Wooden Spoon true
Yup
Yep and E-40
I skipped sour soul. Was that good?
+Frank Wave good, but just too short
Black Thought or Kendrick
King Kunta.
+DreDaDon__ Lol at the or part
I know black Thought is a legend, but listen to Kendrick more than him.., so Imma have to go with Kendrick
Ricnes Alliance That's fair enough, I'm not sure who I listen to the most, probably BT but the Roots discography is some next gen shit man. Niggas been in the game for almost 20 years and still manage to release classic(s) in recent years
+Ricnes Alliance i think he means who is more consistent
Gotta be MF DOOM or Black Thought for sure
+Jordan Pighin the entire madvillain lp as well as viktor vaughn
+MusicIsAWayOfLife123 no
+Jordan Pighin all his albums are great
***** Try listening to his projects in their entirety, but tbh with DOOM it seems like most people that enjoy listening to him absolutely love that underground or OG Hip-Hop sound. If you got time try listening to MM FOOD, Madvillainy, Born Like This, DOOMSDAY & Take me to your leader. I love every one of those projects especially lyrically, that's the reason why I'd put DOOM up there as the most consistent MC of all time. As for Black Though, the Roots discography is just filled with too many undeniable classics
+MusicIsAWayOfLife123 Idk there are a couple of DOOM projects that were iffy for me. Still a great MC. I still don't like his collab w/ Bishop Nehru. But then again that might not count because that album seemed like it was Nehru ft. MF DOOM. I think DOOM's best projects are Madvillainy, MM FOOD and Operation Doomsday. JJ DOOM was kind of a miss for me..
I'd add OutKast to this conversation, since they never put out a whole heartedly whack album. Some albums are subjectively better than others, I've never seen any album that they put out as full on bad.
Idlewild?
John Andrews Idlewild isn’t that bad
@@thomasnelson5758 Idlewild is nowhere near bad imo. It’s incredibly solid but solid just seems jarring because all their other albums ranged from great to down right masterpieces and also because it’s their last album. OutKast really are the most consistent artists in hip hop. 5 great-amazing albums, one solid one, one great Big Boi album and 2 solid ones after that, an amazing run of features from 3k and his beautiful and overlooked EP he put out, “Look Ma No Hands”.
The Roots, Danny Brown, Kendrick, Freddie Gibbs, Childish Gambino, Everyone from Beast Coast, Mac Miller, Vince Staples, Mr. Mutherfuckin esquire, Run the Jewels and their solo albums, Clipping, Cunninglynguists, Everyone from hellfyre club. I think that's it.
There are more but those came off the top.
Earl Sweatshirt he comes through on all his features and albums
Shit forgot Outkast put them at the top with Roots too.
Big K.R.I.T
+Tha Swami Mac, Vince and Bino are not consistent IMO. ROYALTY, Stolen Youth, Blue Slide Park, and Macadelic sucked IMO. But BTI, Camp, Faces, HCW, and Summertime 06 are great projects
Kendrick has definitely been the most consistent, no project that he has put out has been wack. I have enjoyed almost every song on all his albums starting with section 80
aged extremely well
Seriously, Kendrick was the first dude that popped up in my head. I can't think any negative thoughts when it comes to his material.
For u not for everyone
This debate was ALL OVER the place. Define consistent and then each of them should've given their top "consistent" MCs by career or time period.
All Time: Ghostface Killah, Killah Priest, Guru, MF DOOM, Redman, Slick Rick, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, or Rakim.
Now: Curren$y, Kendrick Lamar, Danny Brown, Freddie Gibbs, Earl Sweatshirt, A$AP Rocky, Oddisee, Mick Jenkins, or Big K.R.I.T.
+Jezahri Sumpter Fair enough, but a lot of his albums are pretty great. I love Lupe Fiasco, but before Tetsuo & Youth came out, his last two I liked, but didn't love. Nas still dope though.
+Wavy Guru Alright, I guess I agree. His best albums are amazing, but there are some I don't like so much.
A$AP Rocky for new school easily
Simon6621HD Sure, but would you really say they are not super consistent with their output?
***** I liked ALLA enough, I put him on here by suggestion. I feel all these rappers have earned it to a certain degree. Everyone will feel a particular way about one of them, respectively.
Nah it's EL-P, he's been doing this shit since the 90s and hasn't dropped a weak project.
He drops like 1 project every 7 years when he’s not in RTJ lol even then RTJ is just 1 project every 3 or 4 years. Still a top 10 GOAT though
Elzhi, Black Thought, Pharoah Monch, DOOM and Kendrick come to mind.
Kendrick
Section 80
GKMC
TPAB
Bodied Compton
Bodies features all the time. A$ap Rocky, Drake, The Game, Jay-Z. Kendrick is consistent as fuck.
Don't forget the Kendrick Lamar EP !
***** See No Evil? Game got bodied.
+You Dont E.N.O game definitely didn't get bodied n I fuck w/ kdot
Joshua Moss whether you agree with me or nah, moral of the story is Kendrick is very consistent.
+You Dont E.N.O of course anybody disagree w/ that hating.
Big Krit is easily one of the most consistent in the game period.
What's your favorite mixtape or album from him?
+Ricnes Alliance probably Returnof4eva because that was my introduction to him.
+Riku Oml stay dropping something good
That changed this year
Kendrick!
***** lol fam.
+Kendrick Lamar Damn, ur fast and everywhere, whats up with that, gonna be the next Blvck Lord? lmao
*****
Man, good luck with that, looking forward to see you beneath every video in my feed lmao, everyone who likes kendrick is my friend, cause' he the real shit! lmao haha
agree, kdot is a emcee who is consistent so far, imma WC guy so I support.GfK and 40 been doing it tho with longer consistency.be dope to see GfK and kdot collab.
Kendrick is prolly one of the most consistent P.S. sophie is stunning
***** then why you telling me bruh BTW what happened between you and Q
+Kendrick Lamar haah damn fam! u BEEN EATING couldn't tell who was U and whp was Q.
+Kendrick Lamar thanks for that link, K-dot
Lol. U gon be shoutin out all of youtube.... how bout you spare me the shot out and scrap that project with J SNORE.. I mean J Snooz.. I mean J cole... aka audio nyquill. Get him in the studio. .... GANK FOR his beat USB. and make him walk home. He has no biz contributing his vocals to anything u on
WelcomeToThe92503 did you really say "audio nyquill" haha
Of the new school it's easily Kendrick Lamar. There hasn't been one project or feature he's done that hasn't been fire.
C4 even fire. he sure was the Best Rapper Under 25.
play with fire dope 2
+furthestfromthesun. I agree that he is the most consistent but his verse on fuckin problems was not great
Yeah
Yea it's hard to argue against Kendrick
For me it's been Kendrick and Pusha T.
Yooooo, Kendrick nut hugging levels reaching critical levels.
+Julius C. I mean he's had three incredibly consistent albums in a row, which is much easier said than done, and he's arguably at his all time high right now.
Kendrick never made a bad project
Julius C. why are you so angry
Jack Finucane I explained above, he's in his prime. Assess his career once he's left his peak, it's unfair to compare Kendrick to artist who've been in the game longer.
KRS-One, MF DOOM, Pharaohe Monch and Black Thought. Guaranteed to hear fire anytime any of them are on a track, their longevity just makes it all that much more incredible.
beezy talking is this a fake video
Bruh savage 😂😅
I love the diversity in hip hop interests they have. Somebody for every style of hip hop and not just mainstream
WHAT ABOUT MY BOY FREDDIE GIBBS? HELL NAH DEEH Y'ALL BOOSTIN
jaidsalgado I dont like his early stuff. ESGN was ok.
Kreamykream 21 I dont either, but Pinata and Shadow of a Doubt show improvement
What do you two think of Freddie Gibbs now?
Consistency to me is a mix of making content, staying relevant with it and cresting waves to have the majority go buy and listen to your work and make noise about it.
ghostface no debate
GHOSTFACE KILLAH
DUDE I LOVE MYKE. "EARL SWEATSHIRT HAS BEEN CONSISTENT" Great statement.
When the question was asked one of the first artists that came to my mind was Tech N9ne. Every year there's a new project or two at a consistent quality that I feel slowly increases at times.
Run The Jewels. 3 quality albums
lol Sophie with the "He gotta do something with that hair"
ken get older and older looking every video
+Aaron Tee That's cause some of ya'll out there are working my damn nerves.
+Kennith Inge lmaoo
+Kennith Inge big up mentioning Yu, I check for everything he's on. Great mc
+Kennith Inge lol
Kendrick to me and a lot of ppl has been the most consistent MC in today's hip-hop/rap music. Every album or mixtape he dropped is either great or classic status. There's a reason why we call him #KingKendrick ✊🏿
AZ, Black Thought, Nas MCs that respect the craft
fabulous
yes Fabolous. Every time he drop even a feat it's fire
He drop every December how u & some are BS
+ELMatadiablos How Sway? How? Consistently gives great music.
+Mark Brunache Yeah he was the first person to come to mind
Fab is definitely not consistent
No mention of Ye? Didn't expect that lol.
+Infinitify definitely not, a lot of people didn't like 808s and Yeezus
+Rohan Mishra So Kanye changes his sound up multiple times and he's punished for that? 808s shifted the whole genre and told rappers they could sing. T-Pain did the whole auto tune thing first but Kanye did it to perfection. And whether you like him or not, 808s inspired Drake heavily with his whole rap-sing style.
I get not liking the album but you can't deny its impact. And I don't really like Yeezus but it definitely achieved the sound it was going for and was something new. I'd rather that then have Kanye make the same sounding album over and over.
Talking consistency though, CD had that signature soul sound that inspired a hell of a lot of today's artists. LR expanded on that with a darker tone. Graduation ushered in the end of the gangsta rap era and killed 50 cent. Not to mention MBDTF...
+Infinitify lmao you gave the most basic internet answer about ye no real YE fan would say the same shit wiki says did you just know get into him ?
+Infinitify Don't know why people like 808's or even Yeezus. they're both trash imo, seems like people nowadays think that being different makes you good. And as for the influence part, the years of mainstream rap that followed Wayne Kanye and T Pain was probably one of the worst periods in hip hop imo. seems like we just recovered from that and are starting to get some more quality raps nowadays
+Ray Toledo I've been listening to him since Graduation. And lmao, I put some facts in my opinion on his discography and it's an "Internet answer?"
lol
Scarface he's never had a weak album ever and he's been in the game for years Kanye West had Yeezus if he didn't have that I would put him up there too.
How is he underrated? I often see him mentioned in GOAT lists.
Yeah but not enough lol. .so underrated. .
Rappers like D.V. Alias Khryst and Aceyalone are underrated. Everyone who isn't born yesterday knows about Scarface.
+Lil Wayne's Teeth scarface is garbage
+#LinkPlug Scarface is garbage? Nigga please real recognize real he the last of a dying breed his latest album is one of the best albums this year get over yourself
curren$y.
real nigga
thank you sir u know your facts!
I thought the same. Curren$y puts out soo many albums and free mixtapes and they're usually top notch
I was thinking the same thing
I dig spitta he from my city but that last joint was soft too many bitch songs.
Myke calling out that Minnesota and Rhymesaysers hiphop! We really out here.
Freddie Gibbs is the most consistent MC in the game, period!
Doom, Ghostface, El-p have each been outchea for almost 20 years and are still releasing stellar projects
Damn. Calling Logic consistent sounds so weird at this point.
it's Ghostface. he has recently dropped 12 reasons, 36 seasons, Sour Soul. You can argue that his work without Rza has been just as good. Teaming up with Adrian Younge and BBNG was something many artist probably wouldn't have done.
This is a hard question because i could name like 10 rappers and still feel like I'm missing some...
Curren$y has never dropped a bad project, has one of the best ears for beats, and has always been consistent and gives away all his music.
Immediate L for anyone who says Logic lmao.
Lol like a minute in I believe my nigga Feefo caught that L. Lol
You don't like Logic??
Ricnes Alliance logic is cool to me.
U don't have to personally like him, but what project from him has been received negatively by his fan base as a whole or by critics? All of his works have reached the standard he has set and I personally enjoy them all
I love Logic lmao its just that "consistent"? Really nigga?
No mention of Black Thought?? Dude is easily the most consistent MC in the game. Dropped 14 projects with The Roots since the 90s and all have been well-received. And no one can say this guy fell off at any point in his career. He's still killing any tracks or features he jumps on.
You guys never mention E-40, Madlib or Ghostface
they did mention Ghost
djwarzone1 cool
madlib is a producer and very rarely spits on his tracks
I'd like to throw Pusha T's name in the conversation. Dude has been grinding since Clipse and has yet to make a bad album or mixtape. The man can do no wrong.
Yep I agree Eminem had a slump. I am a huge eminem fan
Joey Szomszed everybody knows em had a slump. for me it's from encore to the re-up. personally i like relapse and "most of" recovery
Kendrick, Em (with his lyricism throughout his whole career), pharoahe monch, asap rocky, black thought, prhyme, killer Mike and el p.
Freddie Gibbs too
I think Freddie Gibbs has been pretty damn consistent in quality and subject. Death Grips is pretty consistent too.
Andre and black thought come to mind instantly
How come nobody asked Feefos zit a question throughout the whole video?
EL-P and Killer Mike As solo artists. Definitely. One of the most consistent of ALL TIME.
EL-P from Co Flow to RTJ
Relapse is soooo sick man, it is weird that Em says it's trash but his flow and the beats and his fucked up mind make it a classic for me, maybe my favourite album of all time. Are there people who agree with me because I know a lot of people disagree. Btw sick video again guys!
relapse was trash dawg..
Kendrick Lamar
Outkast
Rakim and Eric B
Kanye West
A tribe called quest they are the most consistent
Outkast is more consistent the Atcq.
I can’t lie I really hated The Love Movement
Tribes my favorite group and The Low end theory and Midnight Marauders are 2 of the best all time albums. Paths of rythem was was good but beats rhymes and life the love movement while aren't bad albums, they weren't good ones either!!
@@ghtraining1 I kinda liked Beats Rhymes and Life
@@Hiphop4life7083 That's debatable
honestly the intro to this was like...mwah
Eminem's albums make Nas' weaker albums look like classic material
Wack
Em’s put out some wack albums over the past decade but nothing will ever make Nastradamus look like classic material 😂
Pharoahe Monch comes to mind. He skill level and album quality hasn't decreased in the last 25yrs.
Scarface, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Big Krit, Ghostface
Sasuke Uchiha Thanks bruh lol
*****
lol are you serious??? What about hip hop is dead, streets disciple, undecided, life is good, God son???
***** Which 3 albums though?
What about I am or the lost tapes?
The Re-Up album was super dope
Mf Doom always comes through with a similar flow and style.
Black Milk been Consistent too, on being DOPE!!! Bars steppin' up, and taking his Production to different sounds.
Most consistent group.... People Under The Stairs
Underrated and under appreciative as hell
I thought i was the only one listening to them
Shawn Orjiakor second that... PUTS are like 10 albums deep now and they are yet to put out a bad one... Hell they are yet to put out a bad track
Ugly Duckling too.... Mad consistent and yet 99% of people out there won't have a clue who they are. Amazing live too seen them like 8 times now
Simon6621HD And the next step
If I'm being objective I'd say Ghostface Killah, might just possibly the most consistent rapper of all time, might not number one most consistent but if there was top ten hes definitely in there. Plus i'd argue that about 75% of everything he puts out is good, other than that, I'd say jay z, future, big krit, currensy, I could name more but im kind of going off the quantity more than quality.
DOOM?
Yes!
Mac Miller is pretty consistent. He's dropped an album/mixtape every year since 2010 and none of them were bad at all:
2010- Kids
2011- Best Day Ever & Blue Slide Park
2012- Macadelic
2013- Watching Movies W/ The Sound Off & Delusional Thomas
2014- Faces
2015- Good AM
it has to be the one and only Lil Wayne
Now it’s crazy hearing feefo say logic as consistent.
True, should have mentioned DOOM
Frank Ocean no doubt
Viper is consistent as fuck. He has dropped over 300 albums, and they were all fire.
Besides the hiccup he had 2013, Kanye West
that album was great. only hiccup he had was 808s and it wasn't that bad
+Pierre x 808's was way better than Yeezus.
+Pierre x Kanye has had so many Hiccups. What are you talking about?
+TheShutYoMouth not really
+Kevin Leyerzapf His last two albums were a Hiccup. Watch the Throne was a Hiccup. And to some 808s and Heartbreaks was a hiccup.
Y'all forgot Dr.suess. GOAT
kanye west is the most consistent and you can't argue that
+Fiasco117 yea before arguing if he's most consistent you have to argue if he is really even an mc
Ye wack yezzz wack
Ghostface Killah is the first name that popped in my mind. But Kendrick, who has a young career, is getting there too
Notification Squad
+Reid Roman right here.
you already know lol.
shut up
Before watching I have to say personally I think Kendrick, MF DOOM, El-P, Pusha T, Joey Bada$$, Big K.R.I.T., Evidence, R.A. The Rugged Man, Aesop Rock, , Kanye, and Outkast (yes they're a group but who cares) are easily the most consistent, to me their discographies are flawless
Scarface
Aesop Rock has been incredibly consistent for a long time. All his solo albums he's out out with the last 15 years were great.
BLACK THOUGHT
Imagine feffo saying Jay, kinge saying scarface, beezy saying black thought. Got nothin for myke LOL
You didn't even mention Kanye. The man who has the best discography in Hip-hop.
+Moee Mansour Never
+Moee Mansour Nas and ice cube's discography are way better
+Moee Mansour Nah he has 4 great albums one average album and another one that's terrible but he's really good tho his next album could hurt his discography if its bad tho
+Moee Mansour His only classic albums are Graduation and Late Registration.
+BigBad Bryant You're objectively wrong, you've named his 3rd and 4th best album.
J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Logic, Common, & Joey Bada$$
Lil Kim.
Go home your drunk
Ricnes Alliance I don't drink.
+AnTra23 what do you do when you are thirsty
ArnoldFTW97
IDK what do you do?
AnTra23 I drink lots of fluid lmao
--steps in---- "torae!!!!" ---steps out
oochie walle walle, .. oochie bang bang,
I don't necessarily agree with the points being made here, BUT I do appreciate the discussion being brought up. that's why i'm still subscribed to yall guys
probably tech n9ne
Common has never dropped a trash album, and he been in the game for over 20 years.
Open Mike Eagle
MF Doom, Rakim, Kool Keith, Organized Konfusion/Pharoahe Monch/Prince Po, Sadistik, Open Mike Eagle, Aesop Rock, Scroobius Pip, Andre 3000/Outkast, Black Thought/The Roots, RA The Rugged Man, Sage Francis, Open Mike Eagle, Sole, Doseone, Kendrick Lamar, The Underachievers, Dead Players, The Four Owls, Leaf Dog, Jam Baxter, Verb T, Edward Scissortongue, Ras Kass, Sage Francis, Cage, Big Pun, The Streets, Guru, Jurassic 5, Gift Of Gab/Blackalicious, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth.... So many, and a lot of them still somewhat underrated.
***** I know right? Plus all of his features that he's done have all been some of the best. He's been underrated, and sadly forgotten in the history of hip hop post mid-90s in my opinion.
G Eazy, MGK, and Kid Cudi, consistently garbage that is
Nah but for real though, Kendrick, MF DOOM, and Aesop Rock.
+Gingerosity mgk is dope g easy can be corny at times but can spit and with the exception of his new album and wzrd cudi has classic albums under his belt
MGK and G Eazy are for edgy suburban teenagers, and Kid Cudi recently committed musical suicide
I honestly think mgk did pretty well on lace up. general admission was meh. Kid cudi started off strong but fell off big time
Gingerosity EL-P deserves to be there too.
Fabolous!!! Mixtape and albums
Everyone always saying Kendrick for everything, shits getting boring, not hating but man do y'all just not listen to other artists or something
But its facts kendrick never made one slip-up
It does get a little annoying, but it's not wrong. Kendrick is amazing, but you're right there are others that are great too.
Other artist's aren't better than kendrick soo..
+TruMusic89 Not necessarily opinion when his quality and craft is far superior than his peers. Other great artist, sure. But right now Kendrick is without a doubt the standard, and the ring bearer.
***** your opinion is pure opinion as well so foh
The Roots! You guys should try and get an interview with Black Thought, well he doesn't like press much but Questlove too would be cool
How are you guys going to talk about the most consistent MC in the game and not even mention TECH N9NE...?!
Sean P, MF DOOM, Black Thought, and right now for sure that whole Griselda movement...
Ghostface, The Roots, Blu, Kendrick, Joey Badass, Mick Jenkins, and Tyler
