Making your place a home is SO IMPORTANT. My first apartment had minimal decor, crappy used furniture, no major home appeal, we ate on the couch or floor the whole time. Now we have tv trays at least (no space for dinner area in this apartment) that we use at dinner, we also have minimal stuff in our room. It’s calm and peaceful. You’ll find your balance. Also a content room is a must have! Our second room is our office/storage/my content area and it’s crowded. It feels like I can never finish projects. Our new place will have a better dedicated space!
