My favorite movie for sure. I think Patrick did an amazing job in this movie. He was also great in the miniseries North and South. There is no end to his talent.

Yes this is one of my favourite movies ever!! When you read the "behind the scenes" info it is and always will be a classic. Sad about the death of Patrick many years ago and a truly a terrible loss!! RRM

I remember when she got the nose job, and it totally changed her appearance! I was so mad at her.....she really screwed up on that one! She had had such a unique look!😢

Ok. I watched an interview with Patrick’s widow about 3 years ago. This was long after his death and she had recently either remarried or had found a new boyfriend. Now. She might have been joking but she said that Patrick and Jennifer didn’t get along because they had had a fling during “Red Dawn” and he wouldn’t continue it because he was in love with his wife Lisa.
I’m not sure I believe this since Patrick and Lisa were so in love with each other. But then again:

Jennifer Grey was supposed to seem average-looking in this movie - that way, many millions of young women would be able to imagine *OURSELVES* in Patrick’s arms. She did this so successfully that our children and grandchildren (and on and on) are continuing to fall in love with this movie.

It's well known, it has been for decades that Patrick Swayze couldn't stand Jennifer or working with her. I've never been a fan of hers. Every interview I've started to watch of hers she's always been so arrogant even as recently as one with Drew Barrymore, I had to stop watching. It was grossly bragging.
He wasn't very nice to her he admitted later on.
